মুহাম্মদ ইবন মা'মার (রহঃ) ... আরফাজাহ্ ইবন আসআদ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
জাহিলী যুগে কুলাবের যুদ্ধে তাঁর নাক যখম হয়ে যায়। ফলে তিনি রূপার একটি নাক বানিয়ে নেন, কিন্তু তাতে নাকে পচন ধরে। তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাঁকে সোনার নাক বানাতে আদেশ দেন।
It was narrated from 'Arafah bin As'ad that:His nose was cut off at the battle of Al-Kulab during the Jahiliyyah, so he wore a nose made of silver, but it began to rot, so the Prophet [SAW] told him to wear a nose made of gold

It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Tarafah, from 'Arafah bin As'ad bin Karib, who was his grandfather- saying that he saw his grandfather, and he said:"His nose had been cut off at the battle of Al-Kulab during the Jahiliyyah, so he wore a nose made of silver, but it began to rot on him, so the Prophet [SAW] told him to wear a nose made of gold
তিনি বলেন, আমি মুআবিয়া (রাঃ)-কে তাঁর চারদিকে, আনসার ও মুহাজির পরিবেষ্টিত অবস্থায় তাদেরকে বলতে শুনেছিঃআপনারা কি জানেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম রেশমী পরতে নিষেধ করেছেন? তারা বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ, নিশ্চয়ই। তিনি বললেনঃ আর তিনি সোনা পরতেও নিষেধ করেছেন, তবে সামান্য পরিমান ব্যতীত? তারা বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ।
Abu Shaikh Al-Huna'i said:"I heard Mu'awiyah say to a group of Muhajirun and Ansar who were around him: 'Do you know that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade wearing silk?' They said: 'By Allah, yes.' He said 'And (he forbade) wearing gold unless it was broken (into smaller pieces)?' They said: 'Yes.'" 'Ali bin Ghurab contradicted him; he reported it from Bahais, from Abu Shaikh, from Ibn 'Umar
