মুহাম্মাদ ইন মানসূর (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের বলেছেনঃ হে যুবক দল! তোমাদের মধ্যে যে খরচ বহন করতে সামর্থ্য রাখে সে যেন বিবাহ করে। কেননা তা চক্ষু সংযতকারী এবং লজ্জাস্থানের হেফাজতকারী। আর যে অসমর্থ, সে যেন রোযা রাখে; রোযা তার যৌন উত্তেজনা নিয়ন্ত্রক।
Narrated 'Abdullah:
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah said to us: 'O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity, and whoever cannot then he should fast, for it will be a restraint (wija') for him
হারূন ইবন ইসহাক হামদানী আল কূফী (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের যে ব্যক্তি বিবাহের খরচাদির সামর্থ রাখে, সে যেন বিবাহ করে; আর যে ব্যক্তি অসমর্থ, সে যেন রোযা রাখে। ইহা তার যৌন শক্তির নিয়ন্ত্রক। আবু আব্দুর রহমান বলেনঃ এ হাদীসের আসওয়াদ বর্ণনাকারী মাহফুজ নয়।
Narrated 'Alqamah:
It was narrated from 'Alqamah and Al-Aswad that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah said to us: 'Whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, and whoever cannot then he should fast, for it will be a restraint (wija') for him.'" Abu Abdur-Rahman said: (The mention of) Al-Aswad in this hadith is not preserved

বিশর ইবন খালিদ (রহঃ) ... আলকামা (রহঃ) বলেন, উসমান (রাঃ) ইবন মাসউদ (রাঃ)-কে বললেনঃ তোমার কি কোন স্ত্রীলোকের কথা জানা আছে, আমি তাকে তোমার সাথে বিবাহ দিয়ে দেব। তখন আব্দুল্লাহ ইবন মাসউদ (রাঃ) আলকামা (রাঃ)-কে ডেকে বললেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি বিবাহের খরচাদির সামর্থ্য রাখে, সে যেন বিবাহ করে। কেননা তা চক্ষু সংযত করে এবং লজ্জাস্থানের হেফাজত করে। আর যার ক্ষমতা নেই সে যেন রোযা রাখে, তা-ই তার জন্য কামক্ষুধার নিয়ন্ত্রক।
