বিশর ইবন খালিদ (রহঃ) ... আলকামা (রহঃ) বলেন, উসমান (রাঃ) ইবন মাসউদ (রাঃ)-কে বললেনঃ তোমার কি কোন স্ত্রীলোকের কথা জানা আছে, আমি তাকে তোমার সাথে বিবাহ দিয়ে দেব। তখন আব্দুল্লাহ ইবন মাসউদ (রাঃ) আলকামা (রাঃ)-কে ডেকে বললেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি বিবাহের খরচাদির সামর্থ্য রাখে, সে যেন বিবাহ করে। কেননা তা চক্ষু সংযত করে এবং লজ্জাস্থানের হেফাজত করে। আর যার ক্ষমতা নেই সে যেন রোযা রাখে, তা-ই তার জন্য কামক্ষুধার নিয়ন্ত্রক।
Narrated 'Alqamah:
It was narrated from 'Alqamah, that 'Uthman said to Ibn Mas'ud: "Shall I arrange for you to marry a young girl?" 'Abdullah called 'Alqamah and he told the people that the Prophet said: "Whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity. And whoever cannot afford it, then let him fast, for it will be a restraint for him
আমর ইবন যুররা (রহঃ) ... আলকামা (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি ইবন মাসউদ (রাঃ) এর সঙ্গে উসমান (রাঃ)-এর নিকট ছিলাম। তখন উসমান (রাঃ) বললেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বের হলেন- অর্থাৎ কয়েকজন যুবকদের নিকট। আবূ আব্দুর রহমান বলেন, আমি দ্বারা কাদের বুঝানো হয়েছে, তা বুঝতে পারি নি। রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমাদের মধ্যে যে ব্যক্তি ধনবান হয়, সে যেন বিবাহ করে। কেননা, তা চক্ষু সংযত করে এবং লজ্জাস্থানের হেফাজত করে। আর যে ব্যক্তি ধনবান না হয়, তার রোযা তার কামভাবের নিয়ন্ত্রক।
Narrated 'Alqamah:
It was narrated that 'Alqamah said: "I was with Ibn Mas'ud while he was with 'Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, and 'Uthman said: 'The Messenger of Allah came out to some fityah (young men)--Abu 'AbdurRahman said, 'I did not understand (the word) fityah as I would want'-- and said: 'Whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity, and whoever cannot, then fasting will be a restraint (wija') for him
হারূন ইবন ইসহাক হামদানী আল কূফী (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের যে ব্যক্তি বিবাহের খরচাদির সামর্থ রাখে, সে যেন বিবাহ করে; আর যে ব্যক্তি অসমর্থ, সে যেন রোযা রাখে। ইহা তার যৌন শক্তির নিয়ন্ত্রক। আবু আব্দুর রহমান বলেনঃ এ হাদীসের আসওয়াদ বর্ণনাকারী মাহফুজ নয়।
Narrated 'Alqamah:
It was narrated from 'Alqamah and Al-Aswad that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah said to us: 'Whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, and whoever cannot then he should fast, for it will be a restraint (wija') for him.'" Abu Abdur-Rahman said: (The mention of) Al-Aswad in this hadith is not preserved
মুহাম্মদ ইবন আব্দুল্লাহ ইবন মুবারক (রহঃ) ... আয়েশা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর ইনতিকালের পূর্বে আল্লাহ তাআলা তার জন্য হালাল করে দিয়েছিলেন যাকে ইচ্ছা তিনি মহিলাদের মধ্য থেকে বিবাহ করতে পারবেন।
Narrated 'Aishah:
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah did not die until Allah permitted him to marry whatever women he wanted
