Surah An-Nahl (“The Bee”) is the 16th surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 128 ayahs.
Background
A late Makkan surah, also called the surah of blessings. It is named after the bee, which Allah inspired to build its homes and make honey (68–69).

The opening ayahs
أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ١
The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ ٢
He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me."
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ تَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ٣
He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him.

সূরা আন-নাহল (অর্থ: “মৌমাছি”) কুরআনের ১৬ নম্বর সূরা। এটি মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ, আয়াত সংখ্যা ১২৮।
প্রেক্ষাপট
মক্কার শেষ দিকে অবতীর্ণ; একে নিয়ামতের সূরাও বলা হয়। আল্লাহ মৌমাছিকে ঘর বানাতে ও মধু তৈরি করতে যে প্রেরণা দিয়েছেন (৬৮–৬৯), তা থেকে নামকরণ।

- তোমরা আল্লাহর নিয়ামত গুনে শেষ করতে পারবে না (১৮)
- মধু, যাতে মানুষের জন্য আরোগ্য রয়েছে (৬৯)
