Surah Al-Qamar (“The Moon”) is the 54th surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 55 ayahs.
Background
A Makkan surah that opens with the splitting of the moon, a miracle the Quraysh saw (Bukhari 3637). The Prophet ﷺ recited it in the Eid prayer (Muslim 891).

The opening ayahs
ٱقْتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلْقَمَرُ ١
The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].
وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يُعْرِضُوا۟ وَيَقُولُوا۟ سِحْرٌۭ مُّسْتَمِرٌّۭ ٢
And if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "Passing magic."
وَكَذَّبُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍۢ مُّسْتَقِرٌّۭ ٣
And they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.
