Surah Ash-Shuraa (“Consultation”) is the 42nd surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 53 ayahs.
Background
A Makkan surah named after shura, mutual consultation, praised as a quality of the believers (38).

عٓسٓقٓ ٢
'Ayn, Seen, Qaf.
كَذَٰلِكَ يُوحِىٓ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٣
Thus has He revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and to those before you - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
