Surah Az-Zukhruf (“Ornaments of gold”) is the 43rd surah of the Quran: a Makkan surah of 89 ayahs.
Background
A Makkan surah named after the gold ornaments (zukhruf) that Allah says He would give disbelievers were it not a trial for people (33–35).

حمٓ ١
Ha, Meem.
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ ٢
By the clear Book,
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ٣
Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.

প্রেক্ষাপট
মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ; মানুষের জন্য পরীক্ষা না হলে আল্লাহ অবিশ্বাসীদের ঘর সোনার অলংকারে (যুখরুফ) ভরে দিতেন — এ আয়াত (৩৩–৩৫) থেকে নামকরণ।
