সুওয়ায়দ (রহঃ) ... মুসআব ইবন সা'দ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, সা'দের বাগানে বহু আঙুর হতো। তার পক্ষ হতে বাগানে এক প্রহরী ছিল। একবার যখন বহু আঙুর ধরলো তখন ঐ প্রহরী ব্যক্তি সা'দ (রাঃ)-কে লিখলো, আঙুর বিনষ্ট হওয়ার আশংকা রয়েছে। আপনি অনুমতি দিলে আমি এর রস বের করতে পারি। সা'দ (রাঃ) তাকে লিখলেনঃ আমার এই পত্র পাওয়ামাত্র তুমি আমার বাগান ত্যাগ কর। আল্লাহর কসম! এরপরে তোমার কোন কথা আমি বিশ্বাস করবে না। তিনি তাকে বাগানের দায়িত্ব হতে বরখাস্ত করলেন।
It was narrated that Mus'ab bin Sa'd said:"Sa'd had many grapevines and he had someone looking after them for him. (The vines) bore many grapes, and that man wrote to him (saying): 'I am afraid that the grapes will be wasted; what do you think if I squeeze them to make juice? Sa'd wrote to him (saying): 'When this letter of mine reaches you, leave my land, for by Allah I cannot trust you with anything ever agin.' So he made him leave his land
মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুল আ'লা (রহঃ) ... সুওয়ায়দ ইবন গাফালা (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, উমর ইবনুল খাত্তাব (রাঃ) তাঁর কোন কর্মচারির নিকট লিখলেনঃ মুসলিমদেরকে এমন দ্রাক্ষারস পান করতে দিবে, যার দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ জ্বলে নিঃশেষ হয়ে গেছে, আর এক অংশ অবশিষ্ট রয়েছে।
It was narrated that Suwiad bin Ghafalah said:"Umar bin Al-Khattab wrote to some of his workers saying: 'Give to the Muslims thickened grape juice when two thirds of it have gone and one-third is left
