তিনি বলেন, হে লোক সকল! রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তোমাদেরকে যূর বা মিথ্যা হতে নিষেধ করেছেন। এরপর তিনি কালো কাপড়ের এক টুকরা বের করে লোকদের সামনে রেখে বলেন, সেই 'যূর' বা মিথ্যা হলো এই। একে মহিলারা মাথার উপর রেখে এর উপর ওড়না পরে থাকে।
It was narrated that Mu'awiyah said:"O people, the Prophet [SAW] forbade you to give false impressions. He brought a piece of black cloth and threw it in front of them and said: 'This is what women are putting on their heads and covering it
মুহাম্মদ ইবন মুসান্না ও মুহাম্মদ ইবন বাশশার (রহঃ) ... সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যিব (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, মু'আবিয়া (রাঃ) মদীনায় এসে আমাদেরকে উদ্দেশ্য করে বক্তৃতা দিলেন। তখন তিনি হাতে একগুচ্ছ চুল নিয়ে বললেনঃ আমি ইয়াহুদীদের ব্যতীত আর কাউকে এরূপ করতে দেখিনি। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এ খবর পৌঁছলে তিনি একে মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করেছিলেন।
It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab said:"Mu'awiyah came to Al-Madinah and addressed us. He took hold of a hairpiece and said: 'I never used to see anyone do this except the Jews. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] heard of it and he called it "giving a false impression
রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যূর বা মিথ্যা হতে নিষেধ করেছেন। সেই মিথ্যা এই যে, নিজের চুল অস্বাভাবিক লম্বা দেখানোর জন্য মাথায় পরচুলা ইত্যাদি কিছু লাগিয়ে নেয়া।
It was narrated from Mu'awiyah that:The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade giving a false impression, and the false impression of a woman when she adds extra hair to her head
কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... হুমায়দ ইবন আব্দুর রহমান (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি মু'আবিয়া (রাঃ)-কে বলতে শুনেছি, তখন তিনি ছিলেন মদীনায় মিম্বরে। তিনি তাঁর আস্তিন হতে একগুচ্ছ চুল বের করে বললেনঃ হে মদীনাবাসী! তোমাদের আলিমগণ কোথায়? আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে এরূপ করতে নিষেধ করতে শুনেছি। তিনি বলেছেনঃ বনী ইসরাঈলের মহিলারা যখন এরূপ পরচুলা লাগানো আরম্ভ করেছিল, তখন তারা ধ্বংস হয়েছিল।
It was narrated that Humaid bin 'Abdur-Rahman said:"I heard Mu'awiyah say, when he was on the Minbar in Al-Madinah, and he brought out a hairpiece from his sleeve: 'O people of Al-Madinah, where are your knowledgeable ones? I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbid such things as this, and he said: "The Children of Israel were destroyed when their women started to wear things like this
