আমর ইবন আলী (রহঃ) ... সাবিত ইবন ওদীআ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট একটি গোসাপ (দব্ব) আনলে তিনি বললেনঃ একটি সম্প্রদায়ের আকৃতি পরিবর্তন করে দেয়া হয়েছিল। আল্লাহই ভাল জানেন (তা গোসাপ না অন্য কিছু)।
It was narrated from al-Bara bin Azib, from Thabnit bin Wadiah, that:a man brought a mastigure to the Prophet and he said? "A nation was transformed, and Allah knows best
তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট গোসাপ (দব্ব) নিয়ে উপস্থিত হলে তিনি তাকে ওলট-পালট করে দেখতে লাগলেন এবং বললেনঃ একটি সম্প্রদায়কে বিকৃত করা হয়েছিল। জানি না, শেষ পর্যন্ত তাদের কী হয়েছিল? আর আমি এটাও জানি না যে, এরা তাদের মধ্য হতে কিনা।
It was narrated that Thabit bin Wadi ah said:"A man brought a mastigure to the Messenger of Allah and he started looking at it, and turning it over. He said: 'A nation was transformed, it is not known what they did, and I do not know if this is one of them
মুহাম্মদ ইবন মানসূর (রহঃ) .... ইবন আবু আম্মার (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি জাবির ইবন আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ)-কে হায়েনা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করলে, তিনি আমাকে তা খাওয়ার অনুমতি দিলেন। আমি জিজ্ঞাসা করলামঃ এটা কি শিকার? তিনি বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ। আমি আবার জিজ্ঞাসা করলামঃ আপনি কি তা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর থেকে শুনেছেন? তিনি বললেন, হ্যাঁ।
It was narrated that Ibn Abi 'Ammar said:"I asked Jabir bin 'Abdullah about hyenas and he told me to eat them. I said: 'Are they game (that can be hunted)? He said: 'Yes,' I said: 'Did you hear that from the Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Yes
তিনি বলেন, আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সঙ্গে এক সফরে ছিলাম। আমরা এক মনযিল অবতরণ করলে লোকে গোসাপ দেখতে পেল। আমি একটি গোসাপ ধরলাম। তারপর সেটি ভেজে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সামনে পেশ করলাম। তিনি একখণ্ড কাঠ নিয়ে তার আঙ্গুল গণনা শুরু করলেন। পরে বললেন, বনী ইসরাঈলের একদল লোককে সরীসৃপ জাতীয় প্রাণীতে রূপান্তরিত করা হয়েছিল। কিন্তু আমার জানা নেই তারা কোন জন্তু। আমি বললামঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! লোক তোমরা তা খেয়েছে। সাবিত (রাঃ) বলেনঃ তিনি তা খেতে আদেশও করেন নি এবং নিষেধও করেন নি।
It was narrated that Thabit bin Yazid Al-Ansari said:"We were with the Prophet on a journey. We stopped to camp and the people caught some mastigures. I took a mastigure and grilled it, and brought it to the Prophet. He took a palm stalk, and started counting his fingers with it, and said: 'A nation from among the children of Israel was turned into beasts of the Earth, and I do not know what kind of animals they were, I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the people have eaten some of them.' He did not tell them to eat it, and he did not forbid them from eating it
