হাসান ইন মুহাম্মদ (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) বলেনঃ (يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ) অর্থঃ হে মু'মিনগণ! তোমরা আনুগত্য কর আল্লাহর, আনুগত্য কর রাসূলের এবং তাদের, যারা তোমাদের মধ্যে ক্ষমতার অধিকারী (সূরা নিসাঃ ৫৯)। আয়াতটি আবদুল্লাহ ইবন হুযায়ফা ইবন কায়স ইবন আদীর সম্পর্কে নাযিল হয়েছিল। যাকে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কোন যুদ্ধের অধিনায়ক করে পাঠিয়েছিলেন।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (concerning the Verse):"O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad). That he said: This was revealed concerning 'Abdullah bin Hudhaifah bin Qais bin 'Adiyy, whom the Messenger of Allah appointed in charge of an expedition
ইউসুফ ইবন সা'ঈদ (রহঃ) ... আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, যে ব্যক্তি আমার আনুগত্য করলো, সে আল্লাহ্ তা'আলার আনুগত্য করলো; আর যে আমার আনুগত্য করলো না, সে আল্লাহরও আনুগত্য করলো না। আর যে আমার নির্বাচিত শাসকের আনুগত্য করলো, সে আমার আনুগত্য করলো; আর যে আমার নির্বাচিত শাসককে অমান্য করলো, সে আমাকে অমান্য করলো।
Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah. Whoever obeys my governor (Amir), he has obeyed me, and whoever disobeys my governor, he has disobeyed me
আমর ইবন উসমান ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... মুআয ইবন জাবাল (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি বলেন, জিহাদ দুই প্রকারঃ ১. যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ্ তা'আলার সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে এবং ইমামের আনুগত্য করে আর উত্তম মাল আল্লাহর রাস্তায় ব্যয় করে এবং ফিতনা-ফাসাদ পরিহার করে। তার নিদ্রা ও জাগরণ সবই ইবাদতরূপে গণ্য হয়। ২. আর ঐ ব্যক্তি, যে লোককে দেখানোর জন্য ও প্রসিদ্ধি লাভ করার উদ্দেশ্যে জিহাদ করে এবং ইমামের অবাধ্য হয়, পৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করে, সে কিছুই নিয়ে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে না অর্থাৎ তার কোন সওয়াব হবে না।
It was narrated from Muadah bin Jabal that the Messenger of Allah said:"Military campaigns are of two types: as for the one who seeks the Face of Allah, obeys the imam, spends what is precious and avoids mischief, whether he is asleep or awake, he is earning reward. But as for the one who fights in order to show off and gain a reputation, and disobeys the imam and spreads mischief in the land, he comes back empty-handed." (Da 'if)
মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুল আ'লা (রহঃ) ... ইয়াহইয়া ইবন হুসায়ন (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি আমার দাদীকে বলতে শুনেছি, তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বিদায় হজ্জের সময় বলতে শুনেছিঃ যদি তোমাদের উপর কোন হাবশী দাসকেও শাসক নিযুক্ত করা হয়, যিনি তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর কিতাব অনুযায়ী পরিচালনা করেন, তখন তোমরা তার কথা শুনবে; তার আনুগত্য করবে।
It was narrated that Yahya bin Husain said:"I heard my grandmother say: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say, during the Farewell Pilgrimage: If an Ethiopian slave is appointed over you who rules according to the Book of Allah, then listen to him and obey
