হুমায়দ ইবন মাস'আদা (রহঃ) ... আয়েশা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, সাহলা (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে আগমন করে আরয করলোঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! সালিম আমাদের নিকট আগমন করে, পুরুষ যা বুঝে, সেও তা বুঝে। আর পুরুষ যা জানে, সেও তা জানে। তিনি বললেনঃ তাকে দুধ পান করিয়ে দাও। তাহলে তুমি তার জন্য এভাবে হারাম হয়ে যাবে। রাবী আবু মুলায়কা (রহঃ) বলেন, এক বছর যাবত আমি অপেক্ষা করলাম, তা বর্ণনা করিনি। এরপর কাসেমের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ হলে সে বললো, তা বর্ণনা করো. ভয় করো না।
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"Sahlah came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Salim enters upon us and he understands what men understand, and knows what men know.' He said: 'Breast-feed him, and you will become unlawful to him thereby.' (Ibn Abi Mulaikah, one of the narrators said:) For a year I did not narrate this, then I met Al-Qasim and he said: 'Narrate it and do not worry about it
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আবু হুযায়ফা-এর স্ত্রীকে আদেশ করেছেন, আবু হুযায়ফা-এর মাওলা সালিমকে দুধ পান করাবার জন্য। তাতে আবু হুযায়ফা-এর ক্ৰোধ প্রশমিত হবে, অতএব তিনি তাকে দুধ পান করালেন, আর তখন সে একজন বয়স্ক পুরুষ। রবী'আ বলেন, আর এটা ছিল সালিম-এর জন্য বিশেষ অনুমতি।
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"The Messenger of Allah commanded the wife of Abu Hudhaifah to breast-feed Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah, so that the protective jealousy of Abu Hudhaifah would be dispelled. She breast-fed him when he was a man." (One of the narrators) Rabi'ah said: "That was a concession granted to Salim
আমর ইবন আলী (রহঃ) ... আয়েশা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, আবৃ হুযায়ফা-এর পালকপুত্ৰ সালিম আবু হুযায়ফা এবং তার পরিবারের সাথে তাদের ঘরে ছিল। সুহায়াল কন্যা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে এসে বললোঃ পুরুষের মত সালিমও বালিগ হয়েছে। তারা যা বুঝে, সেও তা বুঝে। সে আমাদের মধ্যে যাতায়াত করে। এজন্য আমি আবু হুযায়ফা-এর মনে কিছু ক্রোধের ভাব অনুভব করি। রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তুমি তাকে দুধ পান করাও, তা হলে তুমি তার জন্য হারাম হয়ে যাবে। অতএব আমি তাকে দুধ পান করালাম। এতে আবু হুযায়ফা-এর মনে যা ছিল, তা দূর হলো। পরে আমি তাঁর খেদমতে আরয করলাম, আমি তাকে দুধ পান করিয়েছি, তাতে আবু হুযায়ফা-এর মনে যা ছিল, তা দূর হয়ে গেছে।
It was narrated from 'Aishah that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah, was with Abu Hudhaifah and his family in their house. The daughter of Suhail came to the Prophet and said:"Salim has reached the age of manhood, and understands what men understand. He enters upon us, and I think that Abu Hudhaifah is not happy about that." The Prophet said: "Breast-feed him, and you will become unlawful to him." So she breast-fed him, and the displeasure of Abu Hudhaifah disappeared. She came back to him and said: "I breast-fed him and the displeasure of Abu Hudhaifah has disappeared
আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুর রহমান (রহঃ) ... আয়েশা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, একদা সাহলা বিনত সুহায়াল রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে এসে বললোঃ আমি আমার নিকট সালিম এর আগমনের কারণে আবু হুযায়ফা-এর চেহারায় ক্ৰোধের চিহ্ন দেখতেছি। তিনি বললেনঃ তাকে দুধ পান করিয়ে দাও। তিনি (সাহলা) বললেনঃ তাকে দুধ পান করাব কিভাবে, সে তো একজন বয়স্ক লোক? তিনি বললেন, আমি কি জানিনা যে সে একজন বয়স্ক পুরুষ? পরে তিনি (সাহলা) (তাকে দুধ পান করালেন এবং) এসে বললেন, যিনি আপনাকে নবী করে পাঠিয়েছেন তার কসম! এরপর আমি আবু হুযায়ফা (রাঃ)-এর চেহারায় কোন ক্ৰোধ দেখিনি, যা আমার খারাপ লাগতো।
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"Sahlah bint Suhail came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'I see (displeasure) in the face of Abu Hudhaifah when Salim enters upon me.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feed him.' She said: 'How can I breast-feed him when he is a grown man?' He said: 'Don't I know that he is a grown man?' Then she came after that and said: 'By the One Who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, I have never seen anything I dislike on the face of Abu Hudhaifah after that
