মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুল্লাহ ইবন বযী' (রহঃ) ... কাতাদা (রহঃ) বলেনঃ আমরা ইবরাহীম ইবন ইয়াযীদ নখয়ীকে দুধপান সম্বন্ধে প্রশ্ন করে লিখেছিলাম। উত্তরে তিনি লিখলেন, ‘শুরায়হ আমাদিগকে বর্ণনা করেছেন। আলী (রাঃ) এবং ইবন মাসউদ (রাঃ) বলতেনঃ দুধপান অল্প হোক অথবা অধিক হোক, তা বিবাহ হারাম করে। তার কিতাবে রয়েছে, আবু শা'সা মুহারিবী বর্ণনা করেছেন- আয়েশা (রাঃ) তাঁর কাছে বর্ণনা করেছেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলতেনঃ অল্প পরিমাণ পান করলে, তা হারাম করে না।
Sa'eed narrated from Qatadah:"We wrote to Ibrahim bin Yazid An-Nakha'i asking him about breast-feeding. He wrote back saying that Shuraih had narrated that 'Ali and Ibn Mas'ud used to say: 'A little or a lot of breast-feeding makes marriage prohibited.'" In his book, it said that Abu Ash-Sha'tha' Al-Muharibi narrated that 'Aishah had told him that the Prophet of Allah used to say: "Suckling (Al-Khatfah) once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited
হান্নাদ ইবন সারী (রহঃ) ... মাসরূক (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আয়েশা (রাঃ) বলেছেন, একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমার নিকট আগমন করলেন, তখন আমার নিকট এক ব্যক্তি উপবিষ্ট ছিল। এটা তার নিকট খারাপ লাগলো। আমি তার চেহারায় ক্রোধের লক্ষণ দেখতে পেলাম। আমি বললামঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! সে আমার দুধ-ভাই। তিনি বললেনঃ চিন্তা করে দেখ, কি ধরনের ভাই। অন্য সময় তিনি বলছেনঃ চিন্তা করে দেখ, কে তোমার দুধ-ভাই। এরপর তিনি বললেনঃ দুধপান ধর্তব্য হয় ক্ষুধা নিবারণের জন্য যা পান করা হয়।
It was narrated that Masruq said:"Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah entered upon me and there was a man sitting with me. He got upset about that, and I saw the anger in his face.' I said: "O Messenger of Allah, he is my brother through breast-feeding." He said: "Be careful who you count as your brothers" --or: "be careful who you count as your brothers through breast-feeding"-- "for the breast-feeding (which makes marriage prohibited) is from hunger
