কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) সূত্রে রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, উত্তম দান হল নিজ প্রয়োজনের অতিরিক্ত জিনিস সাদাক করা। আর উপরের হাত নীচের হাত থেকে উত্তম, নিজ পোষ্য থেকে দান করা শুরু করবে।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:"The best of charity is that which is given when you are self-sufficient, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and start with those for whom you are responsible
কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সাদাকা এবং কারো কাছে কিছু না চাওয়ার বিষয়ে আলোচনা প্রসঙ্গে বলেছেনঃ উপরের হাত নীচের হাত থেকে উত্তম। উপরের হাত হল দাতার হােত আর নীচের হাত হল গ্ৰহীতার হাত।
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that:the Messenger of Allah said, when mentioning charity and those who refrain from asking. "The upper hand is better than the lower hand; the upper hand is that which gives and the lower hand is that which asks
আমর ইবন আলী এবং মুহাম্মাদ ইবন মুছান্না (রহঃ) ... আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমরা সাদাকা করতে থাকো, এক ব্যক্তি বলল, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! আমার কাছে শুধুমাত্র একটি দীনার আছে, তিনি বললেন, তুমি তা নিজের জন্য ব্যয় কর। সে বলল, আমার কাছে অন্য আর একটি দীনার আছে। তিনি বললেন, তুমি তা নিজ স্ত্রীর জন্য ব্যয় কর। সে বলল, আমার কাছে অন্য আর একটি দীনার আছে, তিনি বললেন তুমি তা নিজ সন্তানের জন্য ব্যয় কর, সে বলল, আমার কাছে অন্য আর একটি দীনার আছে, তিনি বললেন, তুমি তা নিজ খাদেমের জন্য ব্যয় কর। সে বলল, আমার কাছে অন্য আর একটি দীনার আছে, তিনি বললেন, সে ব্যাপারে তুমিই অধিক বিবেচনাকারী।
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Give charity.' A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a Dinar.' He said: 'Spend it on yourself.' He said: 'I have another.' He said: 'Spend it on your wife.' He said: 'I have another.' He said: 'Spend it on your son.' He said: 'I have another.' He said: 'Spend it on your servant.' He said: 'I have another.' He said: 'You know best (what to do with it)
ইউসুফ ইবন ঈসা (রহঃ) ... তারিকুল মুহারিবী (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমরা একবার মদীনায় আসলাম, তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মাত্র মিম্বারের উপর দাঁড়িয়ে উপস্থিত লোকদের সামনে খুতবা দিচ্ছিলেন এবং বলছিলেনঃ দাতার হাত হল উপরের হাত। আর দান করা শুরু করবে স্বীয় পোষ্যদের থেকে- তোমার আম্মা, আব্বা, ভাই-বোন, তারপর তোমার নিকটাত্মীয়, নিকটাত্মীয়। (সংক্ষিপ্ত)
It was narrated that Tariq Al-Muharibi said:"We came to Al-Madinah and the Messenger of Allah was standing on the Minbar addressing the people and saying: 'The hand which gives is the upper hand. Start with those for whom you are responsible; your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then the next closest, and the next closet
