তিনি বলেন, আমরা আশুরার দিন সওম পালন করতাম এবং সাদাকায়ে ফিতর আদায় করতাম। অতঃপর রমযানের সাওম পালন করার এবং যাকাত আদায় করার বিধান অবতীর্ণ হলে আমাদেরকে আর পূর্বের সেগুলো আদায় করার নির্দেশও দেওয়া হত না এবং বারণও করা হত না। তবুও আমরা সেগুলোও পালন করতাম।
It was narrated that Qais bin Sa'd bin 'Ubadah Said:"We used to fast on 'Ashura and give Zakatul-Fitr, and when the command to fast in Ramadan was revealed, and the command to give Zakah was revealed, we were neither commanded to give it, nor told not to do so, and we used to do it
ইসহাক ইবন ইবরাহীম (রাঃ) ... ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রত্যেক অপ্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক ও প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক পুরুষ, নারী, স্বাধীন এবং গোলামের উপর (গোলামের মালিকের উপর) এক সা' করে খেজুর অথবা এক সা' করে যব সাদাকায়ে ফিতর স্বরূপ ওয়াজিব করেছেন।
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:"The Messenger of Allah enjoined Sadaqatul Fitr upon young and old, male and female, free and slave; a Sa' of dates or a Sa' of barley
মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুল্লাহ (রহঃ) ... কায়স ইবন সা'দ (রাঃ) থেকে বৰ্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে যাকাতের বিধান অবতীর্ণ হওয়ার পূর্বে সাদাকায়ে ফিতর আদায় করার নির্দেশ দিতেন। অতঃপর যাকাতের বিধান অবতীর্ণ হওয়ার পর আমাদেরকে তা পালন করার নির্দেশও দিতেন না আর বারণও করতেন না। তবুও আমরা তা পালন করতাম।
It was narrated that Qais bin Sa'd said:"The Messenger of Allah commanded us to give Sadaqatul Fitr before the command to give Zakah was revealed. When the command to give Zakah was revealed, he neither told us to do it, not told us not to do it, and we used to do it." (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: Abu 'Ammar's name is 'Arib bin Humaid, and 'Amr bin Shurabbil's Kunyah is Abu Maisarah, and Salamah bin Kuhail contradicted Al-Hakam in his chain, and Al-Hakam is more reliable than Salamah bin Kuhail
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু মুহাম্মদ (রাঃ) ... ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রত্যেক মুসলিম স্বাধীন, গোলাম, পুরুষ, নারী, অপ্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক এবং প্রাপ্ত বয়স্ক ব্যক্তির উপর এক সা' করে খেজুর অথবা এক সা' করে যব ফিতরা স্বরূপ ওয়াজিব করেছেন। এবং এও নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন যে, তা যেন লোকজন সালাতের জন্য বের হওয়ার পূর্বেই আদায় করে দেওয়া হয়।
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:"The Messenger of Allah enjoined Zakatul-Fitr, a Sa' of dates or a Sa of barley, upon the free person and the slave, male and female, young and old, among the Muslims. He commanded that it be given before the people went out to the ('fd) prayer
