। রবী' ইবনু সুলায়মান (রহঃ) ... আবূ উমামা বাহীলি (রাঃ) বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, আমি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বললাম, ইয়া রাসুলাল্লাহ! আমাকে এমন একটি ইবাদাতের নির্দেশ দিন যা দ্বারা আল্লাহ আমার উপকার করবেন। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি সাওম (রোযা/রোজা/সিয়াম/ছিয়াম)-কে আকড়ে ধর, যেহেতু এর কোন বিকল্প নাই।
It was narrated that Raja bin Haiwah said:"Abu Umamah Al-Bahili narrated to me: 'I said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me of something by which Allah will benefic me. He said: Take to fasting, for there is nothing like it
। আমর ইবনু আলী (রহঃ) ... আবু উমামা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন যে, আমি একবার রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে এসে বললামঃ আমাকে এমন একটি ইবাদাতের নির্দেশ দিন যা আমি আপনার নির্দেশক্রমে পালন করব। তিনি বললেন, তুমি সাওম (রোযা/রোজা/সিয়াম/ছিয়াম)-কে আকড়ে ধর যেহেতু এর কোন বিকল্প নাই।
Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin Abi Yaqub said:"Raja bin Haiwah narrated that Abu Umamah said: 'I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: Tel l me of something that I may take (learn) from you. He said: "Take to fasting, for there is nothing like it
। আহমদ ইবনু ঈসা (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ (আল্লাহ্ বলেন) বনী আদম যে নেক কাজ করে তাকে তার দশ গুন প্রতিদান দেওয়া হয়। কিন্তু সাওম (রোযা/রোজা/সিয়াম/ছিয়াম) আমারই জন্য এবং আমি নিজেই তার প্রতিদান দিব।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said (that Allah said):"For every good deed that the son of Adam does, he will have (the reward of) ten the like thereof, except for fasting. It is for Me and I shall reward for it
