আবূ বকর ইবনু আবূ শয়বাহ, ইসহাক ইবন ইবরাহীম ইবনু আবূ উমর (রহঃ) .... সকলেই ইসমাঈল (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে সুফইয়ান ও ওয়াকী' এর হাদীসে এভাবে বর্ণিত হয়েছেঃ যেদিন ইবরাহীম (ইবনু মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) ইনতিকাল করেন, সেদিন সূর্যগ্রহণ হয়েছিল। তখন লোকেরা বলতে লাগল, ইবরাহীম এর মৃত্যুর কারণে সূর্যগ্রহণ লেগেছে। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Isma'il with the same chain of transmitters and in the hadith narrated by Sufyan and Waki' (the words are):" The sun eclipsed on the day when Ibrahim died, and the people said: It has eclipsed on the death of Ibrahim
উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু মু'আয আল আম্বারী ও ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু হাবীব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ চন্দ্রগ্রহণ ও সূর্যগ্রহণ অবশ্যই কোন মানুষের মৃত্যুর কারণে সংঘটিত হয় না। বরং এগুলো আল্লাহর দুটি নিদর্শন। অতএব তোমরা যখন তা (গ্রাস) দেখ তখন উঠে গিয়ে সালাত আদায় কর। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Verily the sun and the moon do not eclipse on account of the death of any one of the people, but they are the two signs among the signs of Allah. So when you see it, stand up and observe prayer
আবূ ‘আমির আল আশ'আরী আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু বাররাদ ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুল আলী (রহঃ) ...... আবূ মূসা (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর যামানায় একবার সূর্যগ্রহণ লাগল। তিনি ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত হয়ে দাঁড়ালেন। (রাবীর ধারণা) তিনি কিয়ামত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা করছিলেন। অবশেষে তিনি মসজিদে এসে সালাতে দাঁড়ালেন এবং সবচেয়ে লম্বা কিয়াম, লম্বা রুকু, লম্বা সিজদা সহকারে সালাত আদায় করতে লাগলেন। আমি কখনও কোন সালাত তাকে (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে) এত লম্বা করতে দেখিনি। সালাত শেষ করে তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বললেন, এসব নিদর্শনাবলী যা যা আল্লাহ জগতে পাঠান। কোন ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু বা জীবনের কারণেই অবশ্যই তা হয় না। বরং আল্লাহ এগুলো পাঠিয়ে বান্দাদের সতর্ক করেন। অতএব তোমরা যখন এমন কিছু দেখতে পাও, তখন তোমরা ভীত হয়ে আল্লাহর যিকর, দু'আ ও ইস্তিগফারে মশগুল হও। ইবনু আলা এর বর্ণনায় রয়েছেঃ সূর্যগ্রহণের সময় এবং তিনি বলেন, বান্দাদের সতর্ক করার জন্য। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮৬, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Musa reported:The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He stood in great anxiety fearing that it might be the Doomsday, till he came to the mosque. He stood up to pray with prolonged qiyam, ruku', and prostration which I never saw him doing in prayer; and then he said: These are the signs which Allah sends, not on account of the death of anyone or life of any one, but Allah sends them to frighten thereby His servants. So when you see any such thing, hasten to remember Him, supplicate Him and beg pardon from Him, and in the narration transmitted by Ibn 'Ala the words are:" The sun eclipsed"."" He frightens His servants
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আবূ মাসউদ আল আনসারী (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ চন্দ্র ও সূর্য আল্লাহর দুটি নিদর্শন। এগুলো দ্বারা আল্লাহ তার বান্দাদের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করেন। আর এ দুটি কোন মানুষের মৃত্যুর জন্য গ্রাসপ্রাপ্ত হয় না। অতএব, তোমরা যখন এরূপ কিছু দেখতে পাও, তখন তোমরা সালাত আদায় কর এবং দু'আ করতে থাক যে পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ তোমাদের এ অবস্থা দূর না করেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Verily the sun and the moon are the two signs among the signs of Allah by which He frightens his servants and they do not eclipse on account of the death of any one of the people. So when you see anything about them, observe prayer, supplicate Allah till it is cleared from you
