ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আবূ মাসউদ আল আনসারী (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ চন্দ্র ও সূর্য আল্লাহর দুটি নিদর্শন। এগুলো দ্বারা আল্লাহ তার বান্দাদের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করেন। আর এ দুটি কোন মানুষের মৃত্যুর জন্য গ্রাসপ্রাপ্ত হয় না। অতএব, তোমরা যখন এরূপ কিছু দেখতে পাও, তখন তোমরা সালাত আদায় কর এবং দু'আ করতে থাক যে পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ তোমাদের এ অবস্থা দূর না করেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Verily the sun and the moon are the two signs among the signs of Allah by which He frightens his servants and they do not eclipse on account of the death of any one of the people. So when you see anything about them, observe prayer, supplicate Allah till it is cleared from you
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি’, ‘আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আবদুর রহমান আদ দারিমী (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর ইবনুল আস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সময় যখন সূর্যগ্রহণ লাগল, তখন ঘোষণা করা হ’ল, "আসসলা-তু জা-মি আহ” (সালাতের জামা'আত) অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে। এরপর রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দু' রুকূ’ ও এক সিজদা সহকারে এক রাকাআত আদায় করলেন। অতঃপর সূর্য স্পষ্ট হয়ে গেল। আয়িশাহ (রাযিঃ) বলেন, আমি কখনও এর চেয়ে লম্বা রুকূ’ ও লম্বা সিজদা আদায় করিনি। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Amr b. al-'As reported:When the sun eclipsed during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), they (the people) were called to congregational prayers. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed two ruku's in one rak'ah. He then stood and observed two ruku's in (the second) rak'ah. The sun then became bright, and 'A'isha said; Never did I observe, ruku' and prostration longer than this (ruku' and prostration)
উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু মু'আয আল আম্বারী ও ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু হাবীব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ চন্দ্রগ্রহণ ও সূর্যগ্রহণ অবশ্যই কোন মানুষের মৃত্যুর কারণে সংঘটিত হয় না। বরং এগুলো আল্লাহর দুটি নিদর্শন। অতএব তোমরা যখন তা (গ্রাস) দেখ তখন উঠে গিয়ে সালাত আদায় কর। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Verily the sun and the moon do not eclipse on account of the death of any one of the people, but they are the two signs among the signs of Allah. So when you see it, stand up and observe prayer
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুল মুসান্না ও আবূ বকর ইবনু খাল্লাদ (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সূর্যগ্রহণের সময় সালাত শুরু করে প্রথমে কিরআত পাঠ করেছেন, তারপর রুকু করেছেন। আবার কিরআত পড়েছেন, আবার রুকূ’ করেছেন। আবার কিরআত পাঠ করে আবার রুকু করেছেন। আবার কিরাআত পাঠ করে আবার রুকূ’ করেছেন। অতঃপর সিজদা করেছেন। দ্বিতীয় রাকাআতও অনুরূপভাবে আদায় করেছেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৮১, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Ibn 'Abbas reported:The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) observed prayer while it was (solar) eclipse. He recited (the Qur'an in qiyam) and then bowed. He again recited and again bowed. He again recited and again bowed and again recited and again bowed, and then prostrated; and the second (rak'ah) was like this
