Yahya related to me from Malik from Amir ibn Abdullah ibn az- Zubayr from Amr ibn Sulaym az-Zuraqi from Abu Qutada al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to pray carrying Umama, who was the daughter of his daughter Zaynab by Abu'l As ibn Rabia ibn Abd Shams. রেওয়ায়ত ৮০. ইবন শিহাব (রহঃ) বলেন- সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যাব (রহঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ কোন নামায এরূপ যাহার প্রতি রাকাআতে বসিতে হয়? অতঃপর (উত্তরে) সাঈদ বলিলেনঃ উহা মাগরিবের নামায, যখন তোমার উহা হইতে এক রাকাআত ছুটিয়া যায় অর্থাৎ ইমামের সঙ্গে এক রাকাআত না পাইলে তাহাকে সেই রাক’আত আদায় করিতে হইবে, তখন প্রতি রাকাআতেই বসিতে হয়। মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ সব নামাযেই এইরূপ নিয়ম।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Said ibn al- Musayyab said, "Which prayer is it when you remain in the sitting position in every raka?'' Said said, "It is maghrib when you miss one raka, and that is the sunna in all the prayers
রেওয়ায়ত ৮২. আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলিয়াছেনঃ তোমাদের মধ্যে ফেরেশতাগণ পালাবদল করিয়া আসা-যাওয়া করেন। একদল ফেরেশতা রাত্রে এবং আর একদল দিনে, আর আসর ও ফজরের নামাযে তাহারা একত্র হন। অতঃপর যাহারা রাত্রে তোমাদের মধ্যে ছিলেন, তাহারা উর্ধ্বলোকে চলিয়া যান। আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা আপন বান্দাদের অবস্থা অধিক জ্ঞাত, তবুও তিনি ফেরেশতাগণকে প্রশ্ন করেনঃ তোমরা আমার বান্দাগণকে কি অবস্থায় রাখিয়া আসিয়াছ? উত্তরে ফেরেশতাগণ বলেন, আমরা তাহাদিগকে নামাযরত অবস্থায় রাখিয়া আসিয়াছি এবং আমরা যখন তাঁহাদের নিকট গমন করিয়াছিলাম তখনও তাহারা নামাযে রত ছিলেন।

রেওয়ায়ত ৭৯. জনৈক মুহাজির আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আমর ইবন আস (রাঃ)-এর নিকট প্রশ্ন করিলেনঃ আমি উটের বিশ্রামাগারে (যাহা সাধারণত পানির নিকট হয়) নামায পড়িতে পারি কি? তিনি বলিলেন, না, তবে ছাগলের বসার স্থানে নামায পড়িতে পার।
