রেওয়ায়ত ৭৯. জনৈক মুহাজির আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আমর ইবন আস (রাঃ)-এর নিকট প্রশ্ন করিলেনঃ আমি উটের বিশ্রামাগারে (যাহা সাধারণত পানির নিকট হয়) নামায পড়িতে পারি কি? তিনি বলিলেন, না, তবে ছাগলের বসার স্থানে নামায পড়িতে পার।

রেওয়ায়ত ৭৮. ওয়াসি ইবন হারবান (রহঃ) বলেনঃ আমি নামায পড়িতেছিলাম, তখন আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) কিবলার প্রাচীরের সহিত পিঠ লাগাইয়া বসা ছিলেন। আমি নামায সমাপ্ত করার পর তাহার নিকট গেলাম, আমার বাম দিকে ফিরিয়া। আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বলিলেনঃ তোমাকে ডানদিক হইয়া ফিরিতে কিসে বাধা দিল? ওয়াসি’ (রহঃ) উত্তরে বলিলেনঃ আমি আপনাকে আমার বাম দিকে বসা দেখিয়া আপনার দিকে ফিরিলাম। আবদুল্লাহ (রাঃ) বলিলেনঃ তুমি ঠিক করিয়াছ। হয়ত এক ব্যক্তি বলিবেঃ তুমি ডান দিক হইয়া ফির। অতঃপর তুমি যখন নামায পড়, যেদিক দিয়া তোমার ইচ্ছা হয় সেইদিক দিয়া ফিরিও, ডানদিক দিয়া হউক বা বামদিক দিয়া।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban that his paternal uncle Wasi ibn Habban said, "I was praying, and Abdullah ibn Umar was resting his back on the wall of the qibla. When I had finished the prayer I turned towards him on my left hand side. Abdullah ibn Umar said, 'What stopped you from turning away to your right?' I replied, 'I saw you and turned towards you.' Abdullah said, 'You have spoken correctly. People say that you should turn away to your right, but when you pray, you can turn whichever way you wish. If you like, to your right, and if you like, to your left
রেওয়ায়ত ৮০. ইবন শিহাব (রহঃ) বলেন- সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যাব (রহঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ কোন নামায এরূপ যাহার প্রতি রাকাআতে বসিতে হয়? অতঃপর (উত্তরে) সাঈদ বলিলেনঃ উহা মাগরিবের নামায, যখন তোমার উহা হইতে এক রাকাআত ছুটিয়া যায় অর্থাৎ ইমামের সঙ্গে এক রাকাআত না পাইলে তাহাকে সেই রাক’আত আদায় করিতে হইবে, তখন প্রতি রাকাআতেই বসিতে হয়। মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ সব নামাযেই এইরূপ নিয়ম।

রেওয়ায়ত ৭৭. নাফি' (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বলতেন, যে ব্যক্তি কোন নামায ভুলিয়া যায়, তারপর সেই নামাযের কথা আর স্মরণ হয় নাই, কিন্তু স্মরণ হইয়াছে এমন সময় যখন ইমামের সাথে, তবে ইমাম সালাম ফিরাইলে পর সে (প্রথমে) যে নামায ভুলিয়াছে উহা পড়িয়া লইবে, তারপর অন্য নামায (যাহা ইমামের সহিত পড়িয়াছিল) পড়িবে।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say, "Someone who only remembers that he has forgotten a prayer when he is praying the next prayer behind an imam, should pray the prayer he has forgotten after the imam has said the taslim, and then pray the other one again
