Whoever stands in prayer on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and hoping for reward, his past sins are forgiven (Bukhari 1901).
The opening ayahs
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ١
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ٢
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍۢ ٣
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

যে ব্যক্তি ঈমান ও সওয়াবের আশায় লাইলাতুল কদরে ইবাদতে দাঁড়ায়, তার আগের গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেওয়া হয় (বুখারী ১৯০১)।
