সুওয়ায়দ ইবন নাসর (রহঃ) ... সুলায়মান তায়মী (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
আনাস ইবন মালিক (রাঃ) তাদেরকে জানিয়েছেন যে, আমি আমার চাচাদের সাথে গােত্রের মধ্যে দাঁড়ান ছিলাম। আমি ছিলাম বয়সে তাদের সর্বকনিষ্ঠ। এমন সময় এক ব্যক্তি এসে বললোঃ খামর (মদ) হারাম হয়ে গেছে। আমি তখন তাদের মাঝে দাঁড়িয়ে তাদেরকে ফাযীখ নামক পানীয় পান করাচ্ছিলাম। তারা বললেনঃ এই পাত্র উলটে দাও, তখন আমি ঐ পাত্রগুলো উলটে দিলাম। এ সময় আমি আনাস (রাঃ)-কে জিজ্ঞাসা করলামঃ ফাযীখ কি? তিনি বললেনঃ তা শুকনো এবং কাঁচা খেজুরের তৈরি পানীয়। আবু বকর ইবন আনাস (রহঃ) বললেন, তখন এটাই ছিল তাদের খামদর (মদ)। আনাস (রাঃ) তা শুনে আপত্তি করেন নি।
Anas bin Malik said:"While I was taking care of a group of people, including my paternal uncles, and I was the youngest of them, a man came and said: 'Khamr has been forbidden.' I was taking care of them, and was pouring Fadikh (date-wine) for them. They said: 'Pour it away.' So I poured it away." I (the narrator) said to Anas: "What is that?" He said: "Unripe dates and dried dates." Abu Bakr bin Anas said: "That was their wine in those days." And Anas did not deny that
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمْ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَعَنْ الصَّلَاةِ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা বলেনঃ হে মুমিনগণ! মদ, জুয়া, মূর্তিপূজার বেদী ও ভাগ্য নির্ধারণী তীর-এ সমস্তই ঘৃণ্য বস্তু এবং শয়তানের কাজ, সুতরাং তোমরা তা পরিত্যাগ কর, যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার। শয়তান তো মদ ও জুয়া দ্বারা তোমাদের মধ্যে শক্রতা ও বিদ্বেষ ঘটাতে চায় এবং তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর যিকির ও সালাতে বাঁধা দিতে চায়। তবে কি তোমরা নিবৃত্ত হবে না? (সূরা মায়িদাঃ ৯০–৯১) ৫৫৩৯. আবু বকর ইবন আহমদ (রহঃ) ... উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, যখন মদ হারাম হওয়া সম্পর্কে আয়াত নাযিল হলো, তখন উমর (রাঃ) দু'আ করলেনঃ হে আল্লাহ! মদ সম্পর্কে আমাদেরকে স্পষ্ট আদেশ দান করুন। তখন সূরা বাকারার আয়াত নাযিল হলো। উমর (রাঃ)-কে ডেকে ঐ আয়াত পড়ে শোনানো হলো। তিনি দু'আ করলেনঃ হে আল্লাহ্! মদ সম্পর্কে আমাদেরকে পরিষ্কার আদেশ দান করুন। তখন সূরা নিসা-এর আয়াত নাযিল হলোঃ (يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى) অর্থাৎ “হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা নেশা অবস্থায় সালাতের নিকটেও যাবে না।” এরপর রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর পক্ষ হতে একজন আহ্বানকারী নামাযের সময় বলতোঃ তোমরা নেশাগ্রস্ত অবস্থায় সালাতের নিকটবর্তী হয়াে না। উমর (রাঃ)-কে ডেকে এই আয়াত পড়ে শুনানো হলো। তিনি পুনরায় দু'আ করলেনঃ হে আল্লাহ্! মদ সম্পর্কে আমাদের জন্য পরিষ্কার হুকুম নাযিল করুন। তারপর যখন সূরা মায়িদার আয়াত নাযিল হলো, তখন উমর (রাঃ)-কে ডেকে তা শুনানো হলো। যখন তিলাওয়াতকারী ঐ আয়াতের (فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ) পর্যন্ত পৌছলেন, তখন উমর (রাঃ) বলে উঠলেনঃ আমরা নিবৃত্ত হলাম, আমরা নিবৃত্ত হলাম।
It was narrated from 'Umar that:When the prohibition of Khamr was revealed, 'Umar said: "O Allah, give us a clear ruling on Khamr," and the Verse in Al-Baqarah was revealed. 'Umar was called and it was recited to him. Then 'Umar said: "O Allah, give us a clear ruling on Khamr," and the Verse in An-Nisa' was revealed: "O you who believe! Approach not As-Salah (the prayer) when you are in a drunken state". And when the Iqamah for prayer was said, the caller of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] would cry out: "O you who believe! Approach not As-Salah (the prayer) when you are in a drunken state." 'Umar was called and this was recited to him. Then he said: "O Allah, give us a clear ruling on Khamr." Then the Verse in Surat Al-Ma'idah was revealed, and 'Umar was called, and it was recited to him. When he reached the words, "So, will you not then abstain?," 'Umar said: "We have abstained, we have abstained
তিনি বলেন, আমি, আবূ তালহা, উবাই ইব্ন কা'ব এবং আবু দুজানা আনসারদের এক দলকে শরাব পান করাতাম। তখন এক ব্যক্তি এসে বললোঃ একটা ঘটনা ঘটেছে। মদ হারাম করা হয়েছে। এ খবর শুনে আমরা শরাবের পাত্র উল্টিয়ে দিলাম। তিনি বলেনঃ তখনকার দিনের মদ ছিল ফাযীখ।
It was narrated that Anas said:"I was pouring (wine) for Abu Talhah, Ubayy bin Ka'b and Abu Dujanah among a group of Ansar when a man came in and said: 'Something new has happened; the prohibition of Khamr has been revealed.' So we poured it away." He said: "The only intoxicant in those days was Fadikh, a mixture of unripe dates and dried dates." And Anas said: "Khamr was forbidden, and most of their Khamr in those days was Fadikh
