তিনি বলেনঃ একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে প্রশ্ন করা হলো, কোন মহিলা উত্তম? তিনি বললেনঃ যে মহিলার প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত স্বামীকে সন্তুষ্ট করে। সে আদেশ করলে তা সম্পন্ন করে, এবং তার বাড়ীর ও তার মালের ব্যাপারে যা অপছন্দ করে, সে তার বিরোধিতা করে।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "It was said to the Messenger of Allah: 'Which woman is best?' He said: 'The one who makes him happy when he looks at her, obeys him when he commands her, and she does not go against his wishes with regard to herself nor her wealth
উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) সূত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, মহিলাদেরকে চারটি কারণে বিবাহ করা হয়, তার মাল সম্পদ, বংশ গৌরব, সৌন্দর্য এবং ধর্ম দেখে। তুমি ধাৰ্মিক নারীকে বিবাহ করে উপকৃত হও।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said: "Women are married for four things: their wealth, their nobility, their beauty and their religious commitment. Choose the one who is religiously committed, may your hands be rubbed with dust
মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুল্লাহ ইবন ইয়াযীদ (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আমর ইবন আস (রাঃ) সূত্রে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেনঃ সমগ্ৰ পৃথিবী মানুষের ভোগ্য-বস্তু, আর পৃথিবীন্থ ভোগ্য বস্তুসমূহের মধ্যে সর্বোত্তম হলো পুণ্যবতী স্ত্রী।
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As:
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As that the Messenger of Allah said: "This world is all temporary conveniences, and the best temporary convenience of this world is a righteous woman
মুহাম্মদ ইবন ইসমাঈল ইবন ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
আবদুল করীম তা ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) পর্যন্ত মারফুরূপে বর্ণনা করেছেন, আর হারূন তা মারফুরূপে বর্ণনা করেন নি। তারা বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এক ব্যক্তি এসে বললোঃ আমার এক স্ত্রী রয়েছে যে আমার নিকট সর্বাধিক প্রিয়, কিন্তু কোন স্পর্শকারীর হাত ফেরায় না। তিনি বললেনঃ তাকে তালাক দাও। সে বললোঃ আমি তার বিরহ বেদনা সহ্য করতে পারব না। তিনি বললেনঃ তা তাকে রেখে দাও। আবু আবদুর রহমান (রহঃ) বলেন, এ হাদীস ঠিক নয়। আবদুল করীম মযবুত রাবী নয়। আর হারূন ইবন রিয়াব তা হতে বিশ্বাসযোগ্য এবং তার হাদীস বিশুদ্ধতার নিকটবর্তী আবদুল করীমের হাদীস হতে।
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that a man came to the Messenger of Allah and said: "I have a wife who is one of the most beloved of the people to me, but she does not object if anyone touches her." He said: "Divorce her." He said: "I cannot do without her." He said: "Then stay with her as much as you need to
