। আবূ দাঊদ (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন যে, মাস কখনো ঊনত্রিশ দিনের হয় আবার কখনো ত্রিশ দিনের হয়। যখন তোমরা (রমযানের) চাঁদ দেখবে তখন সাওম (সিয়াম/রোজা/রোযা) পালন করবে, আর যখন (শাওয়াল মাসের) চাঁদ দেখবে তখন সাওম ভঙ্গ করবে। তবে হ্যাঁ, যদি আকাশ মেঘাছন্ন থাকে তবে মাসের ত্রিশ দিন পূর্ণ করবে।
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: The month may be twenty-nine days or it may be thirty. When you see it, then stop fasting, and it is obscured from you (too cloudy), then complete the count
। আহমদ ইবনু সুলায়মান (রহঃ) ... মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু সা’দ (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয় এবং মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু উবায়দ (রহঃ) তার রূপ বর্ণনা করতে গিয়ে তিনবার নিজ হাতে তালি দিলেন, অতঃপর তৃতীয়বারে বাম হাতের বৃদ্ধা আঙ্গুল বন্ধ করে ফেললেন।
It was narrated that Muhammad bin Sad bin Abi Waqqas said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The month is like this and like this and like this." । উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু ফাদালাহ এবং আহমাদ ইবনু মুহাম্মাদ (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) বলেছেন যে, আমি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, মাস কখনো ত্রিশ দিনের হয়।
Abdullah Ibn ' Umar said:" I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The month is twenty-nine days
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . يَعْنِي تِسْعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ . رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
। সুওয়াইদ ইবনু নাসর (রহঃ) ... মুহাম্মাদ (রহঃ)-এর পিতা [সা’দ (রাঃ)] সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন যে, মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়। অর্থাৎ ঊনত্রিশ দিনের (২৯ দিনেরও হয়)।
