রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মহামহিম আল্লাহ (কিয়ামত দিবসে) আহবান করবে, হে আদম! তিনি উত্তরে বলবেন, আমি আপনার সামনে উপস্থিত, আপনার কাছে শুভ কামনা করি এবং সকল কল্যাণ আপনারই হাতে। মহান আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ জাহান্নামী দলকে বের কর। আদম (আঃ) জিজ্ঞেস করবেনঃ জাহান্নামী দল কতজনে? মহান আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ প্রতি হাজার থেকে নয়শ' নিরানব্বই। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ এটা সে মুহুর্ত যখন বালক হয়ে যাবে বৃদ্ধ, সকল গর্ভবতী তাদের গর্ভপাত করে ফেলবে আর মানুষকে দেখবে মাতাল সদৃশ যদিও তারা নেশাগ্রস্ত নয়, বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর আযাব বড়ই কঠিন। রাবী বলেন, কথাগুলো সাহাবাগণের কঠিন মনে হলো। তারা বললেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমাদের মধ্যে কে সে ব্যক্তি? তিনি [সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম] বললেনঃ আনন্দিত হও। ইয়া'জু্য ও মাজুযেরন সংখ্যা এক হাজার হলে তোমাদের সংখ্যা হবে একজন। তারপর রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেনঃ কসম সে সত্তার যার হাতে আমার প্রাণ! অবশ্যই আমি আশা রাখি যে, তোমরা জান্নাতীদের এক চতুর্থাংশ হবে। (সাহাবা বলেন,) আমরা আল্লাহর প্রশংসা করলাম এবং 'আল্লাহু আকবার ধ্বনি দিলাম। তারপর আবার তিনি বললেন, শপথ সে সত্তার, যার হাতে আমার জীবন! অবশ্যই আমি আশা রাখি, জান্নাতীদের মধ্যে তোমরা তাদের এক তৃতীয়াংশ হবে। সাহাবা বলেন, আমরা বললাম "আলহামদুলিল্লাহ' এবং 'আল্লা-হু আকবার ধ্বনি দিলাম। তারপর আবার রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ কসম সে সত্তার, যার হাতে আমার প্রাণ! আমি আশা রাখি যে, তোমরা জান্নাতীদের অর্ধেক হবে এবং তোমরা অন্যান্য উম্মতের মধ্যে কারো ষাঁড়ের গায়ে একটি সাদা পশমের ন্যায় অথবা গাধার পায়ের চিহ্নের সদৃশ। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৪২৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abu Sa'id reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah, the High and Glorious, would say: O Adam I and he would say: At Thy service, at thy beck and call, O Lord, and the good is in Thy Hand. Allah would say: Bring forth the group of (the denizens of) Fire. He (Adam) would say: Who are the denizens of Hell? It would be said: They are out of every thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine. He (the Holy Prophet) said: It is at this juncture that every child would become white-haired and every pregnant woman would abort and you would see people in a state of intoxication, and they would not be in fact intoxicated but grievous will be the torment of Allah. He (the narrator) said: This had a very depressing effect upon them (upon the companions of the Holy Prophet) and they said: Messenger of Allah, who amongst us would be (that unfortunate) person (who would be doomed to Hell)? He said: Good tidings for you, Yajuj Majuj would be those thousands (who would be the denizens of Hell) and a person (selected for Paradise) would be amongst you. He (the narrator) further reported that he (the Messenger of Allah) again said: By Him in Whose Hand is thy life, I hope that you would constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise. We extolled Allah and we glorified (Him). He (the Holy Prophet) again said: BY Him in Whose Hand is my life, I wish you would constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise. We extolled Allah and Glorified (Him). He (the Holy Prophet) again said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, I hope that you would constitute half of the inhabitants of Paradise. Your likeness among the people is the likeness of a white hair on the skin of a black ox or a strip on the foreleg of an ass
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু 'আবদুল্লাহ (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দিলেন। তিনি তার পৃষ্ঠদেশের সাহায্যে চামড়ার তাবুর সাথে হেলান দেয়া ছিলেন। তিনি বললেনঃ সাবধান, মুসলিম ব্যতীত কেউই জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না। অতঃপর তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহ! আমি কি (অর্পিত দায়িত্ব) পৌছিয়েছি? হে আল্লাহ! তুমি সাক্ষী থাকো, তোমরা কি এটা পছন্দ করবে যে, তোমরা জান্নাতীদের এক চতুর্থাংশ হবে? আমরা বললাম, হ্যাঁ! হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! অতঃপর তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা কি এটা পছন্দ করবে যে, তোমরা জান্নাতীদের এক তৃতীয়াংশ হবে? তারা বললো, হ্যাঁ; হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! তিনি [সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম] বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ, নিশ্চয়ই আমি আশা রাখি যে, তোমরা হবে জান্নাতীদের অর্ধেক। বস্তুতঃ অন্যান্য উম্মতের তুলনায় তোমাদের সংখ্যা হবে সাদা বলদের মধ্যে একটি কালো পশমের মতো অথবা তিনি বলেছেনঃ কালে বলদের মধ্যে একটি সাদা পশমের মতো (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৪২৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abdullah b Mas'ud reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) addressed us and then supported his back (by reclining) against a leather tent and said: Behold, no one but a believing person would enter Paradise. O Allah, (see) have I conveyed (it not)? 0 Allah, be witness (to it that I have conveyed it). (Then addressing the companions) he said: Don't you like that you should constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise? We said: Yes, Messenger of Allah. He again said: Don't you like that you should constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise? They said: Yes, Messenger of Allah. He said: I hope that you would constitute one- half of the inhabitants of Paradise and you would be among the peoples of the world, like a black hair on (the body of) a white ox or like a white hair on the body of a black ox
আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ্ (রহঃ) ..... আ'মাশ (রহঃ) হতে উক্ত সনদে হাদীসটি বর্ণনা করেছেন। তারা উভয়ে বর্ণনা করেন, "তোমরা সকল মানুষের মধ্যে কালো ষাঁড়ের গায়ে একটি সাদা পশমের মতো হবে অথবা সাদা ষাড়ের গায়ে কালো পশমের মতো হবে।" তারা “গাধার পায়ের চিহ্নের মতো" এ কথা উল্লেখ করেননি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৪২৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
The same hadith has been narrated from A'mash on the authority of the same chain of transmitters with the exception of these words:You would be no more among men (on the Day of Resurrection) but like a white hair on (the body of) a black ox, or like a black hair on (the body of) a white ox, and he made no mention of: a strip on the foreleg of an ass
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আল মুসান্না ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু বাশশার (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমরা প্রায় চল্লিশজনের মতো রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সাথে একটি তাবুতে অবস্থান করছিলাম। তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তোমরা কি এতে সন্তুষ্ট যে, তোমরা জান্নাতীদের এক চতুর্থাংশ হবে? আমরা বললাম, হ্যাঁ। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমরা কি এতে সন্তুষ্ট যে, তোমরা জান্নাতীদের এক তৃতীয়াংশ হবে? আমরা বললাম, হ্যাঁ। তিনি [সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম] বললেন, কসম তার যার হাতে আমার প্রাণ! আমি আশা করি যে, অবশ্যই তোমরা জান্নাতীদের অর্ধেক হবে। কেননা, কেবল মুসলিমই সেখানে প্রবেশের অনুমতি লাভ করবে। আর মুশরিকদের মধ্যে তোমাদের অবস্থান হবে, যেমন কাল ষাঁড়ের গায়ে একটি সাদা পশম অথবা লাল ষাঁড়ের গায়ে একটি কালো পশমের মতো। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৪২৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported:We, about forty men, were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a camp when he said: Aren't you pleased that they should constitute one-fourth of the inhabitants of Paradise? He (the narrator) said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) again said: Aren't you pleased that you should constitute one-third of the inhabitants of Paradise? They said: Yes. Upon this he again said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, I hope that you would constitute one-half of the inhabitants of Paradise and the reason is that no one would be admitted into Paradise but a believer and you are no more among the polytheists than as a white hair on the skin of a black ox or a black hair on the skin of a red ox
