(…/...) নাসর ইবনু ‘আলী আল-জাহযামী (রহঃ) ..... লায়স ইবনু সা'দ (রহঃ) হতে উপরোক্ত সূত্রে হুবহু বর্ণিত হয়েছে। কিন্তু তিনি বলেছেন, ‘কেননা বছরে একটি এমন দিন রয়েছে, যে দিনে মহামারী ধেয়ে আসে। বর্ণনাকারী হাদীসের শেষলগ্নে বাড়তি বলেছেন যে, লায়স বলেছেন, আমাদের মাঝে অনারবরা "প্রথম কানুন"* মাসে তা থেকে বাচার চেষ্টা করে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫০৮৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
This hadith is reported on the authority of Laith b. Sa'd with the same chain of transmitters, but with a slight variation in wording (and that is that) he (the Holy Prophet) said:There is a day in a year when descends the pestilence; at the end of the hadith Laith said that the non Arabs save themselves from it in Kanun Awwal (this is the month of December)
সাঈদ ইবনু আমর আশ'আসী, আবূ বকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ, মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু নুমায়র, আবূ আমির আশ'আরী ও আবূ কুরায়ব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ মূসা (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, একবার রাতে মাদীনায় ঘরের অধিবাসীসহ একটি বাড়ি পুড়ে গেল। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে তাদের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে জানানো হলে তিনি বললেনঃ এ আগুন তোমাদের শক্র। অতএব তোমরা রাতে শোয়ার সময় তা নিভিয়ে ফেলবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫০৮৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Musa reported that a house was burnt down in Medina during the night over its inhabitants. When their matter was reported to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), he said; This fire is an enemy of yours. So when you go to sleep, extinguish it
তিনি বলেন, আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, তোমরা বাসনগুলো আবৃত রাখবে এবং মশকসমূহের মুখ বেঁধে রাখবে। কারণ বছরে একটি এমন রাত আছে, যে রাতে মহামারী অবতীর্ণ হয়। যে কোন খোলা পাত্র এবং বন্ধনহীন মশকের উপর দিয়ে তা অতিবাহিত হয়, তাতেই সে মহামারী নেমে আসে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫০৮৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Cover the vessels and tie the waterskin, for there is a night in a year when pestilence descends, and it does not pass an uncovered vessel or an untied waterskin but some of that pestilence descending into it
