তিনি বলেন, আমার দু’কান শুনেছে এবং দু'চক্ষু দেখেছে, যখন রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কথা বলছিলেন। তিনি বলেছিলেন, যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ এবং পরকালে বিশ্বাস রাখে সে যেন ভালভাবে নিজ মেহমানের প্রতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন করে। তখন সাহাবীগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! ভালভাবে মানে কী? তখন তিনি বললেন, তাকে একদিন ও এক রাত্রি আপ্যায়ন করবে। আর (সাধারণভাবে) মেহমানদারীর সময়কাল তিন দিন। এর চাইতে বেশি দিন মেহমানদারী করা তার জন্য সদাকাহ্ স্বরূপ। তিনি আরো বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিনে বিশ্বাস রাখে, সে যেন উত্তম কথা বলে অথবা চুপ থাকে। [দ্রষ্টব্য হাদীস ১৭৬] (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৩৬৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abd Shuraib al-Adawi reported:My eare listened and my eye saw when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) spoke and said: He who believes In Allah and the eireafter should show respect to the guest even with utmost kindness and courtesy. They said: Messenger of Allah, what is this utmost kindness and courtesy? He replied: It is for a day and a night. Hospitality extends for three days, and what is beyond that is a Sadaqa for him; and he who believes in Allah and the Hereafter should say something good or keep quiet
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মেহমানদারী তিন দিন এবং উত্তমরূপে মেহমানদারী একদিন ও একরাত্রি। কোন মুসলিম ব্যক্তির জন্য বৈধ নয় যে সে তার ভাই এর নিকট অবস্থান করে তাকে পাপে নিপতিত করবে। তখন সাহাবাগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! কিভাবে সে তাকে পাপে নিপতিত করবে? তিনি বললেন, সে (মেহমান) তার নিকট (এমন বেশী দিন) থাকবে, অথচ তার (মেযবানের) এমন সম্বল নেই যা দ্বারা সে তার মেহমানদারী করবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৩৬৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Shuriah al-Khuza'i reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:(The period of the entertainment of a guest is three days, and utmost kindness and courtesy is for a day and a night. =" It is not permissible for a Muslim to stay with, his brother until he makes him sinful. They said: Messenger of Allah, how he would make him sinful? He (the Holy Prophet) said: He stays with him (so long) that nothing is left with him to entertain him
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া তামীমী (রহঃ) ...... ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কেউ যেন কোন ব্যক্তির পশুর দুধ তার অনুমতি ব্যতীত দোহন না করে। তোমাদের কেউ কি এটা পছন্দ করবে যে, তার কুটিরে কিছু সঞ্চিত হোক, তারপর অন্য কেউ তার ভাণ্ডার ভেঙ্গে খাদ্য সামগ্ৰী বের করে নিয়ে যাক? এমনিভাবে পশুদের স্তন তাদের ধনাগার স্বরূপ, তাতে তারা তাদের খাদ্য সামগ্ৰী সঞ্চয় করে। অতঃপর কেউ যেন কারো পশুর দুগ্ধ মালিকের বিনানুমতিতে দোহন না করে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৩৬২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said this:None (of you) should milk the animal of another, but with his permission. Does any one of you like that his chamber be raided, and his vaults be broken, and his foodstuff be removed? Verily the treasures for them (those who keep animals) are the udders of the animals which feed them. So none of you should milk the animal of another but with his permission
