ইবনু নুমায়র (রহঃ) ..... নুমান ইবনু বাশীর (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, এ ছাড়া কি তোমার আরও পুত্র আছে? তিনি বললেন, হ্যাঁ। তিনি বললেনঃ তাদের সবাইকে কি এভাবে দান করেছ? বললেন, না। তিনি বললেনঃ তা হলে আমি যুলুমের ব্যাপারে সাক্ষী হবো না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪০৩৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Nu'man b. Bashir, reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said:Have you, besides him, other sons? He said: Yes. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Have you given gifts to all of them like this (as you have given to Nu'man)? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: I cannot bear witness to an injustice
তিনি বলেন, আমার পিতা আমাকে নিয়ে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর উদ্দেশে রওয়ানা করলেন। তারপর বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আপনি সাক্ষী থাকুন, আমি নুমানকে আমার সম্পদ থেকে অমুক অমুক বস্তু দান করেছি। তিনি বললেন, তোমার সকল পুত্রদেরও কি তুমি তা দান করেছ, যেরূপ নু'মানকে দান করেছ? তিনি বললেন, না। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, তাহলে আমাকে ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে এর সাক্ষী রাখো। তারপর বললেন, তুমি কি এটা চাও যে, তারা সবাই তোমার প্রতি সদ্ব্যবহার করুক? তিনি বললেন, হ্যাঁ। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, তাহলে এরূপ করো না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪০৪০ ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Nu'man b. Bashir (Allah be pleased with them) reported:My father took me to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Allah's Messenger, bear witness that I have given such and such gift to Nu'man from my property, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Have you conferred upon all of your sons as you have conferred upon Nu'man? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call someone else besides me as a witness. And he further said: Would it, please you that they (your children) should all behave virtuously towards you? He said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Then don't do that (i e. don't give gift to one to the exclusion of others)
আবূ বকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ্ (রহঃ) ... নু'মান ইবনু বাশীর (রাযিঃ) থকে বর্ণিত। তার মা বিনতু রাওয়াহ (রাযিঃ) তাঁর পিতার নিকট স্বীয় পুত্রের জন্যে তার সম্পদ থেকে কিছু দান করার অনুরোধ করলেন। এক বছর যাবৎ তিনি এ ব্যাপারে গড়িমসি করেন। পরে তা দেয়ার ইচ্ছা জাগল। বিনতু রাওয়াহা (রাযিঃ) বললেন, আমার পুত্রকে যা দিবেন তার উপর রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে সাক্ষী না রাখা পর্যন্ত আমি খুশি হবো না। তখন আমার পিতা আমার হাত ধরে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট আসলেন। সে সময় আমি বালক ছিলাম। তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! এর মা বিনতু রাওয়াহা চায় যে, আমি তাঁর পুত্রকে যা দান করেছি আপনাকে তার সাক্ষী রাখি। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, হে বাশীর! এ ছাড়া তোমার কি আর কোন পুত্র আছে? বললেন, হ্যাঁ। তিনি বললেন, তুমি কি তাদের সকলকে এরূপ দান করেছ? তিনি বললেন, না। তখন তিনি বললেন, তাহলে আমাকে সাক্ষী রেখো না। কারণ, আমি যুলুমের ব্যাপারে সাক্ষী হই না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪০৩৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Nu'man b. Bashir reported that his mother bint Rawaha asked his (Nu'man's) father about donating some gifts from his property to his son. He deferred the matter by one year, and then set forth to do that. She (Nu'man's mother) said:I shall not be pleased unless you call Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as witness to what you confer as a gift on your son. (Nu'man said): So father took hold of my hand and I was at that time a boy, and came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). and said: Allah's Messenger, the mother of this son (of mine), daughter of Rawaha wishes that I should call you witness to what I confer as gift to her son. Allah's Messenger (may pease be upon him) said: Bashir, have you any other son besides this (son of yours)? He said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Have you given gifts to all of them like this? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Then call me not as witness, for I cannot be witness to an injustice
