ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু আযহারের মুক্ত গোলাম আবূ উবায়দ হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি ঈদের দিন উমর ইবনু খাত্ত্বাব (রাযিঃ) এর সাথে উপস্থিত ছিলাম। তিনি এসে সালাত (সালাত/নামাজ/নামায) আদায় সমাপ্ত করে লোকদের উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দিলেন। এতে তিনি বললেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এ দু'দিন সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করতে নিষেধ করেছেন। ঈদুল ফিতরের দিন, আর দ্বিতীয় হলো যেদিন তোমরা কুরবানীর গোশত খেয়ে থাক।" (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৫৩৮, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Ubaid, the freed slave of Ibn Azhar, reported:I observed Id along with Umar b. al-Khattab (Allah be pleased with him). He came (out in an open space) and prayed and (after) completing it addressed the people and said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has forbidden the observing of fast on these two days. One is the day of Fitr (at the end of your fasts), and the second one, the day when you eat (the meat) of your sacrifices
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُمَيْرٍ - عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ، حَدِيثًا فَأَعْجَبَنِي فَقُلْتُ لَهُ آنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا، مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فَأَقُولُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا لَمْ أَسْمَعْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ " لاَ يَصْلُحُ الصِّيَامُ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ يَوْمِ الأَضْحَى وَيَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ " .
কুতায়বাহ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ..... কাযা'আহ থেকে আবূ সাঈদ আল খুদরী (রাযিঃ) এর সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বললেন, আমি তার (আবূ সাঈদ) কাছে একটি হাদীস শুনলাম যা আমার অত্যন্ত পছন্দ হলো। আমি তাঁকে বললাম, আপনি এ হাদীস রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে শুনেছেন। তিনি বললেন, আমি যা শুনিনি এমন কথা তার নামে চালিয়ে দিতে পারি? এবার তিনি বললেন, আমি তাকে বলতে শুনেছিঃ দু'দিন সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করা সমীচীন নয়। কুরবানীর ঈদের দিন এবং রমযানে ঈদুল ফিতরের দিন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৫৪০, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Qaza'a related from Abu Sa'id. He said:I heard from him (Abu Sa'id) a hadith which impressed me, and I said to him: Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)? Thereupon he said: (Is it possible) that (I should) say about the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that which I have not heard? I heard him saying: It is not proper to fast on two days, Adha and Fitr (at the end) of Ramadan
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... খালিদ ইবনু যাকওয়ান হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেছেন, আমি রুবায়’ই বিনতু মু'আববিয (রাযিঃ) কে আশুরার সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) সম্বন্ধে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম। তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার বার্তাবাহককে আনসারদের গ্রামে পাঠালেন ..... হাদীসের বাকি অংশ বিশর বর্ণিত হাদীসের অনুরূপ। শুধু এতটুকু ব্যতিক্রম রয়েছে, আমরা এদের জন্য পশম দিয়ে খেলনা তৈরি করতাম এবং এগুলো আমাদের সাথেই নিয়ে যেতাম। এরা আমাদের কাছে খাবার চাইলে আমরা এ খেলনা এদের হাতে দিতাম। এটা তাদেরকে সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পূর্ণ করা পর্যন্ত ভুলিয়ে রাখত। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৫৩৭, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Khalid b. Dhakwan reported:I asked Rubayyi' daugther of Mu'awwidh about fasting on the day of 'Ashura. Thereupon she said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) sent his messenger to the villages of the Ansar, and the rest of the hadith is the same (but with this variation that one of the Companions) said:" We used to make toys out of wool and took (them to the mosque) along with us. When they (the children) asked us for food, we gave them these toys to play with, and these made them forgetful till they completed their fast
