রেওয়ায়ত ১৫. সাঈদ ইবন ইয়াসার (রহঃ) বলিয়াছেনঃ আমি আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ)-এর সঙ্গে মক্কার পথে ভ্রমণ করিতেছিলাম। সাঈদ (রহঃ) বর্ণনা করিলেনঃ যখন প্রভাত হওয়ার আশংকা করিলাম, তখন বিতর পড়িলাম এবং (তাড়াতাড়ি) আসিয়া তাহার সাথে একত্র হইলাম। আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) জিজ্ঞাসা করিলেনঃ তুমি (এতক্ষণ) কোথায় ছিলে ? আমি (উত্তরে) তাহাকে বলিলামঃ ভোর হইতেছে আশংকা করিয়া নিচে নামিয়া বিতর পড়িয়ছি। ইহা (শুনিয়া) আবদুল্লাহ্ (রাঃ) বললেনঃ তোমার জন্য রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর (কাজের মধ্যে) আদর্শ নাই কি ? আমি বলিলামঃ আল্লাহর কসম, হ্যাঁ আছে। তিনি বলিলেনঃ (মনে রাখ) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম উটের উপর বিতর পড়িতেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Bakr ibn Umar that Said ibn Yasar said, ''I was travelling with Abdullah ibn Umar on the road to Makka, and fearing that it was nearly dawn. I dismounted and prayed witr. Abdullah said, 'Is there not a model for you in the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?' I said, 'Of course, by Allah!' রেওয়ায়ত ১৪. আবদুল্লাহ ইবন মুহায়রীয (রহঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, কেনানা গোত্রের এক ব্যক্তি, যাহাকে মুখদাজী বলা হইত, তিনি শাম দেশের এক ব্যক্তিকে (যাহার উপনাম আবু মুহাম্মদ) বলিতে শুনিয়াছেন যে, বিতর-এর নামায ওয়াজিব। মুখদাজী বলিলেনঃ আমি উবাদা ইবন সামিত (রাঃ)-এর নিকট গেলাম, তিনি তখন মসজিদে গমন করিতেছিলেন। আমি তাহার পথ আটকাইয়া দাঁড়াইলাম। অতঃপর আবু মুহাম্মদ যাহা বলিয়াছেন তাহাকে উহার খবর দিলাম। উবাদা (রাঃ) বলিলেনঃ আবু মুহাম্মদ অসত্য বলিয়াছে। আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলায়হি ওয়া সাল্লামকে বলিতে শুনিয়াছিঃ আল্লাহ তা'আলা বান্দাদের উপর পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামায ফরয করিয়াছেন। যে ব্যক্তি উহা আদায় করিবে এবং তুচ্ছ ধারণা করিয়া উহার কোন প্রকার হক নষ্ট করিবে না, তাহার জন্য আল্লাহর নিকট এই প্রতিজ্ঞা রহিল যে, তিনি তাহাকে বেহেশতে প্রবেশ করাইবেন। আর যে উহা আদায় করিবে না, তাহার প্রতি আল্লাহর কোন অঙ্গীকার থাকিবে না। তিনি ইচ্ছা করিলে তাহাকে শাস্তি দিবেন এবং ইচ্ছা করিলে তাহাকে জান্নাতেও দাখিল করিতে পারেন।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban from Ibn Muhayriz that a man from the Kinana tribe called al-Mukhdaji heard a man in Syria known as Abu Muhammad saying, "The witr is obligatory (fard)." Al-Mukhdaji said, "I went to Ubada ibn as-Samit and presented myself to him as he was going to the mosque, and told him what Abu Muhammad had said. Ubada said that Abu Muhammad had lied and that he had heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'Allah the Majestic and Mighty has written five prayers for mankind, and whoever does them and does not waste anything of them by making light of what is due to them, there is a pact for him with Allah that He will admit him into the Garden.Whoever does not do them, there is no pact for him with Allah. If He wishes, He punishes him, and if He wishes, He admits him into the Garden
রেওয়ায়ত ১৬. সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যাব (রহঃ) বর্ণনা করিয়াছেন- আবু বকর সিদ্দীক (রাঃ) শয্যা গ্রহণের ইচ্ছা করিলে বিতর পড়িয়া লইতেন। আর উমর (রাঃ) শেষ রাত্রে বিতর পড়িতেন। সাঈদ ইবন মুসায়্যাব বলেন, (আমার অভ্যাস হইল এই) আমি যখন শয্যা গ্রহণ করিতে আসি তখন বিতর পড়িয়া লই।
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Said ibn al-Musayyab said, "Abu Bakr as-Siddiq used to pray witr when he wished to go to bed, and Umar ibn al-Khattab used to pray witr at the end of the night. As for me, I pray witr when I go to bed
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى فَإِذَا خَشِيَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصُّبْحَ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً تُوتِرُ لَهُ مَا قَدْ صَلَّى " .
রেওয়ায়ত ১৩. আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) হইতে বর্ণিত, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলায়হি ওয়া সাল্লামকে সালাতুল লায়ল (তাহাজ্জুদের নামায) সম্বন্ধে প্রশ্ন করিলেন। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলায়হি ওয়া সাল্লাম ফরমাইলেনঃ সালাতুল-লায়ল' দুই-দুই রাকাআত। অতঃপর যদি প্রভাত হওয়ার আশংকা হয় তবে এক রাকাআত পড়িবে, ইহা আদায়কৃত নামাযগুলিকে তাহার জন্য বিতর-এ (বিজোড়) পরিণত করবে।
