وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لَهُ : { وَأَمَرَهُ بِطَلَاقِهَا } 1 .1 - صحيح . رواه البخاري ( 9 / 395 / فتح ).
Narrated Another narration by him has:

عَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- { أَنَّ اِمْرَأَةَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَتَتْ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ! ثَابِتُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ مَا أَعِيبُ عَلَيْهِ فِي خُلُقٍ وَلَا دِينٍ , وَلَكِنِّي أَكْرَهُ اَلْكُفْرَ فِي اَلْإِسْلَامِ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -" أَتَرُدِّينَ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ ? " , قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ . قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -" اِقْبَلِ اَلْحَدِيقَةَ , وَطَلِّقْهَا تَطْلِيقَةً } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ .
Narrated Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):
The wife of Thabit bin Qais came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger, I do not find fault with Thabit bin Qais (RA) in respect of character or religion, but I dislike (and fear) that I might commit an act of Kufr fil-Islam (that which is contradictory to Islamic behavior)." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked her, "Will you give him back his garden?" And she replied, "Yes," so Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him, "Accept the garden and divorce her, with one pronouncement (of divorce)."
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ , وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيِّ وَحَسَّنَهُ : { أَنَّ اِمْرَأَةَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ اِخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْهُ , فَجَعَلَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عِدَّتَهَا حَيْضَةً } 1 .1 - حسن . رواه أبو داود ( 2229 ) ، والترمذي ( 1185 ) ، وقال الترمذي : " هذا حديث حسن غريب ".
Narrated Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi reported this Hadith and the later graded it Hasan (good):
"The wife of Thabit bin Qais got a divorce from him in return for a compensation (paid by her), and the Prophet (ﷺ) made her 'Iddah (period of waiting before re-marrying) one menstruation course."
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَا يَجْلِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ اِمْرَأَتَهُ جَلْدَ اَلْعَبْدِ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيّ ُ 1 .1 - صحيح . رواه البخاري (5204) ، وتمامه : " ثم يجامعها في آخر اليوم " . قلت : وهو في البخاري ومسلم أيضا بلفظ آخر.
Narrated Narrated 'Abdullah bin Zam'ah (RA):
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "None of you should whip his wife like the whipping of a slave."
