তিনি বলেন, আমাকে ‘উরওয়াহ ইবনু যুবায়র, সা‘ঈদ ইবনু মুসাইয়্যাব, ‘আলক্বামাহ ইবনু ওয়াক্কাস, ‘উবাইদুল্লাহ্ ইবনু ‘আবদুল্লাহ্ (রহ.), ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ)-এর হাদীস সম্পর্কে বলেছেন। অপবাদকারীরা যখন তার উপর অপবাদ দিয়েছিল। ইবনু শিহাব (রহ.) বলেন, বর্ণনাকারীদের একেকজন সে সম্পর্কে আমার কাছে হাদীসের একেক অংশের বর্ণনা দিয়েছেন। ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) বলেন, এর ফলে আমি আমার বিছানায় শুয়ে পড়লাম। অথচ আমি তখন জানি, আমি নির্দোষ পবিত্র এবং আল্লাহ্ আমাকে নির্দোষ বলে প্রমাণ করবেন। আল্লাহর শপথ! কিন্তু আমার মর্যাদা আমার কাছে এমন যোগ্য ছিল না যে, এ ব্যাপারে ওয়াহীই অবতীর্ণ করবেন যা তিলাওয়াত করা হবে। আমার মর্যাদা আমার কাছে এর চেয়ে তুচ্ছ ছিল যে, আল্লাহ্ আমার সম্পর্কে এমন কোন কালাম করবেন যা তিলাওয়াত করা হবে। এ সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ্ নাযিল করলেনঃ যারা এমন জঘন্য অপবাদ এনেছে ..... পুরো দশটি আয়াত (সূরা আন্-নূর ২৪/১১-২০)। [২৫৯৩] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৭০২৫, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated `Aisha:
(when the slanderers said what they said about her): I went to my bed knowing at that time that I was innocent and that Allah would reveal my innocence, but by Allah, I never thought that Allah would reveal in my favor a revelation which would be recited, for I considered myself too unimportant to be talked about by Allah in the Divine Revelation that was to be recited. So Allah revealed the ten Verses (of Surat-an-Nur). 'Those who brought a false charge

Narrated Abu Huraira:
that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Allah does not listen to anything as He listens to the recitation of the Qur'an by a Prophet who recites it in attractive audible sweet sounding voice
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أُرَاهُ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ {وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ} فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا أَوْ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ.

তিনি বলেন, দু’জন ইয়াহূদী নারী-পুরুষকে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে আনা হলো। তারা যিনা করেছিল। এরপর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমরা ইয়াহূদীর এদের সাথে কী আচরণ করে থাক? তারা বলল, আমরা এদের মুখ কালো করি ও লাঞ্ছিত করি। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমরা তাওরাত নিয়ে এসো, এবং তা পাঠ কর, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও। তারা তাওরাত নিয়ে আসল এবং তাদেরই ইচ্ছেমত এক লোককে ডেকে বলল, হে আওয়ার! তুমি পাঠ কর। সে পাঠ করতে লাগল, শেষে এক স্থানে এসে সে তাতে আপন হাত রেখে দিল। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তোমার হাতটি উঠাও। সে হাত উঠাল। তখন যিনার শাস্তি পাথর নিক্ষেপ করে হত্যা করা আয়াতটি স্পষ্ট দেখা যাচ্ছিল। তিলাওয়াতকারী বলল, হে মুহাম্মাদ! এদের মাঝে শাস্তি আসলে রজমই, কিন্তু আমরা তা গোপন করছিলাম। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাদেরকে রজম করার হুকুম দিলে তাদেরকে রজম করা হল। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, যিনাকারী পুরুষটিকে স্ত্রী লোকটির উপর ঝুঁকে পড়ে তাকে পাথর থেকে রক্ষার চেষ্টা করতে দেখেছি। [১২৩৯] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৭০২৩, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Ibn `Umar:
A Jew and Jewess were brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) on a charge of committing an illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked the Jews, "What do you (usually) do with them?" They said, "We blacken their faces and disgrace them." He said, "Bring here the Torah and recite it, if you are truthful." They (fetched it and) came and asked a one-eyed man to recite. He went on reciting till he reached a portion on which he put his hand. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Lift up your hand!" He lifted his hand up and behold, there appeared the verse of Ar-Rajm (stoning of the adulterers to death). Then he said, "O Muhammad! They should be stoned to death but we conceal this Divine Law among ourselves." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that the two sinners be stoned to death and, and they were stoned to death, and I saw the man protecting the woman from the stones. (See Hadith No. 809, Vol)
