। ইবনু মাসউদ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ যে ব্যক্তি অহঙ্কারবশতঃ সালাতের মধ্যে স্বীয় বস্ত্র (পাজামা/লুঙ্গি/প্যান্ট ইত্যাদি পায়ের গিরার নিচে) ঝুলিয়ে রাখে, মহান আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাত হালাল করবেন না এবং জাহান্নামও হারাম করবেন না।[1] সহীহ। ইমাম আবূ দাউদ (রহঃ) বলেন, একদল বর্ণনাকারী (যেমন হাম্মাদ ইবনু সালামাহ, হাম্মাদ ইবনু যায়িদ, আবূল আহওয়াস, আবূ মু‘আবিয়াহ প্রমূখ) ‘আসিম সূত্রে ইবনু মাসঊদ (রাঃ)-এর বক্তব্যরূপে মাওকুফভাবে বর্ণনা করেছেন।
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: He who lets his garment trail during prayer out of pride, Allah, the Almighty, has nothing to do with pardoning him and protecting him from Hell
। ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু বুরায়দাহ (রহঃ) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম নিষেধ করেছেন একটি মাত্র চাদরে সালাত আদায় করতে, যা দেহ আবৃত করে না। তিনি আরো নিষেধ করেছেন, গায়ে চাদর না জড়িয়ে কেবল পাজামা পরে সালাত আদায় করতে।[1] হাসান।
Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited us to pray in a sheet of cloth without crossing both its ends, and he also prohibited us to pray in a wrapper without putting on a sheet
। আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি স্বীয় লুঙ্গি (পায়ের গিরার নিচে) ঝুলিয়ে সালাত আদায় করছিল। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাকে বললেনঃ যাও, অযু করে আস। সে অযু করে এলে তিনি আবার বললেনঃ যাও, অযু করে আস। সে পুনরায় অযু করে আসল। একজন বলল, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আপনি তাকে (অযু থাকাবস্থায় পুনরায়) অযু করতে কেন বললেন? তিনি বললেন, সে তার লুঙ্গি ঝুলিয়ে সালাত আদায় করছিল। মহান আল্লাহ (পায়ের গিরার নিচে) লুঙ্গি ঝুলিয়ে সালাত আদায়কারীর সালাত কবুল করেন না।[1] দুর্বল।
Abu Hurairah said :while a man was praying letting his lower garment trail, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him: Go and perform ablution. He, therefore, went and performed ablution and then returned. He (the prophet) again said: Go and perform ablution. He again went, performed ablution and returned. A man said to him (the prophet): Messenger of Allah, why did you order him to perform ablution? He said: he was praying with lower garment trailing, and does not accept the prayer of a man who lets his lower garment trail
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ رضى الله عنه " إِذَا كَانَ لأَحَدِكُمْ ثَوْبَانِ فَلْيُصَلِّ فِيهِمَا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ إِلاَّ ثَوْبٌ وَاحِدٌ فَلْيَتَّزِرْ بِهِ وَلاَ يَشْتَمِلِ اشْتِمَالَ الْيَهُودِ " .
। ইবনু ‘উমার (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন অথবা ‘উমার (রাঃ) বলেছেন, তোমাদের কারো নিকট দু’টি কাপড় থাকলে সে যেন ঐগুলি পরেই সালাত আদায় করে। আর একটি মাত্র কাপড় থাকলে সে যেন তা কোমরে বেঁধে নেয় এবং ইয়াহূদীদের ন্যায় দু’ কাঁধে ঝুলিয়ে না রাখে।[1] সহীহ।
Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying, or reported ‘Umar as saying (the narrator is doubtful):if one of you has two (piece of) cloth, he should pray in them; if he has a single (piece of) cloth, he should use it as a wrapper, and should not hang it upon the shoulder like the Jews
