। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা এক ব্যক্তি লুঙ্গি ঝুলিয়ে সালাত আদায় করছিল। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাকে বললেনঃ যাও, উযু করে এসো। লোকটি গিয়ে উযু করে আসলে তিনি তাকে বললেনঃ যাও, উযু করে এসো। লোকটি গিয়ে উযু করে এলে তিনি তাকে আবার বললেনঃ যাও, উযু করে এসো। তখন এক লোক তাঁকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আপনি তাকে কি জন্য উযুর আদেশ দিলেন, অতঃপর তিনি নীরব থাকলেন। তিনি বলেনঃ লোকটি লুঙ্গি ঝুলিয়ে সালাত আদায় করছিল। মহান আল্লাহ ঐ সালাত কবূল করেন না যে টাখনুর নীচে লুঙ্গি ঝুলিয়ে সালাত আদায় করে।[1] দুর্বল।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
A man was praying with his lower garment hanging down. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him: Go and perform ablution. He then went and performed ablution. He then came and he said: Go and perform ablution. Then a man said to him: Messenger of Allah, what is the matter with you that you commanded him to perform ablution and then you kept silence ? He replied: He was praying while hanging down his lower garments, and Allah does not accept the prayer of a man who hangs down his lower garment
। সালিম ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ (রহঃ) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি অহংকার বশতঃ পরিধেয় বস্ত্র মাটিতে হেঁচড়িয়ে চলে, কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ তার দিকে তাকাবেন না। একথা শুনে আবূ বাকর (রাঃ) বললেন, আমার লূঙ্গির একদিক মাঝেমধ্যে ঝুলে পড়ে। আমি তো সেদিকে সর্বদা সতর্ক হতে পারি না। তিনি বললেনঃ যারা অহংকারবশে এরূপ করে আপনি তো তাদের মতো নন।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone trails his garment arrogantly, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection. Then Abu Bakr said: One of the sides of my lower garment trails, but still I remain careful about it. He said: You are not one of those who do so conceitedly
। আবূ যার (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ তিন প্রকার লোকের সাথে কথা বলবেন না, তাদের প্রতি (রহমতের নজরে) দেখবেন না এবং তাদেরকে পবিত্র করবেন না, আর তারা কঠিন শাস্তি ভোগ করবে। আমি বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! এরা কারা? নিঃসন্দেহে এরা ব্যর্থ ও ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) একথাটা তিনবার বললেন, আর আমিও তাঁকে প্রশ্ন করলাম, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! এরা কেমন লোক? এরা তো ব্যর্থ ও ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। তিনি বললেনঃ (১) যে ব্যক্তি টাখনুর নীচে কাপড় ঝুলিয়ে রাখে; (২) যে ব্যক্তি দান করে খোঁটা দেয় এবং (৩) যে ব্যক্তি মিথ্যা বা ধোঁকাপূর্ন কসম করে পণ্য বিক্রি করে।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abu Dharr:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: There are three to whom Allah will not speak and at whom He will not look on the Day of Resurrection, and whom He will not declare pure, and they will have a painful punishment. I asked: Who are they, Messenger of Allah, they are losers and disappointed ? He repeated it three times. I asked: Who are they. Messenger of Allah, they are losers and disappointed ? He replied: The one who wears a trailing robe, the one who takes account of what he gives, and the one who produces a ready sale of a commodity by false swearing
। আবূ জুরায়্যি জাবির ইবনু সুলাইম (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি এমন এক ব্যক্তিকে দেখেছি, যার কথা সবাই মেনে চলে এবং যা কিছু বলেন সবাই তা পালন করে। আমি বললাম, ইনি কে? তারা বললো, ইনি হলেন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম। আমি দু’ বার বললাম, ‘আলাইকাস সালাম ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! তিনি বললেনঃ ‘আলাইকাস সালাম বলো না, কেননা ‘আলাইকাস সালাম দ্বারা মৃত ব্যক্তিকে সালাম দেয়া হয়। বরং তুমি বলো, আসসালামু আলাইকা। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, আমি প্রশ্ন করলাম, আপনি কি আল্লাহর রাসূল! তিনি বললেনঃ আমি সেই আল্লাহর রাসূল, যাকে তুমি বিপদে পড়ে ডাকলে তিনি তোমার বিপদ দূর করেন; দুর্ভিক্ষের সময়ে তাঁকে ডাকলে তিনি তোমার জন্য খাদ্যশস্য উৎপাদন করেন; ঘাস-পানিহীন মরু প্রান্তরে তোমার সওয়ারী হারিয়ে গেলে তাঁকে ডাকলে তিনি তোমার নিকট তা ফিরিয়ে দেন। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, আমি তাঁকে আমাকে উপদেশ প্রদানের অনুরোধ জানালাম। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি কখনো কাউকে গালি দিবে না। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, এর পরে আমি কখনো স্বাধীন, গোলাম, উট ও ছাগল, কোনো কিছুকেই গালি দেইনি। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বলেনঃ ভালো কাজে অবজ্ঞা প্রদর্শন করো না। তোমার ভাইয়ের সাথে হাসিমুখে কথা বলাটা নিঃসন্দেহে ভালো কাজের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। তোমার কাপড় পায়ের নলার মাঝামাঝি পর্যন্ত উঠিয়ে রাখো, যদি এতে সন্তুষ্ট না হও তবে টাখনু পর্যন্ত রাখো। টাখনুর নীচে ঝুলিয়ে পরা থেকে সাবধান; কারণ তা করা অহংকারের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। আল্লাহ অহংকার পছন্দ করেন না। কেউ যদি তোমার মধ্যকার জানা কোনো দোষ উল্লেখ করে তোমাকে মন্দ কথা বলে এবং লজ্জিত করে তবে তুমি কিন্তু তার জ্ঞাত দোষ উল্লেখ করে তাকে লজ্জা দিবে না। কেননা এর কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল তাকে ভোগ করতেই হবে।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated AbuJurayy Jabir ibn Salim al-Hujaymi:
I saw a man whose opinion was accepted by the people, and whatever he said they submitted to it. I asked: Who is he? They said: This is the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I said: On you be peace, Messenger of Allah, twice. He said: Do not say "On you be peace," for "On you be peace" is a greeting for the dead, but say "Peace be upon you". I asked: You are the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon you)? He said: I am the Messenger of Allah Whom you call when a calamity befalls you and He removes it; when you suffer from drought and you call Him, He grows food for you; and when you are in a desolate land or in a desert and your she-camel strays and you call Him, He returns it to you. I said: Give me some advice. He said: Do not abuse anyone. He said that he did not abuse a freeman, or a slave, or a camel or a sheep thenceforth. He said: Do not look down upon any good work, and when you speak to your brother, show him a cheerful face. This is a good work. Have your lower garment halfway down your shin; if you cannot do it, have it up to the ankles. Beware of trailing the lower garment, for it is conceit and Allah does not like conceit. And if a man abuses and shames you for something which he finds in you, then do not shame him for something which you find in him; he will bear the evil consequences for it
