। হারুন ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সালাতের সাথে অমুকের চেয়ে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ সালাত আর কারও পেছনে আদায় করিনি। সূলাইমান (রাঃ) বলেন, তিনি জোহরের প্রথম দুরাকআত লম্বা করতেন, শেষের দু'রাকআত সংক্ষিপ্ত করতেন। আর আসরের সালাত সংক্ষিপ্ত করতেন। আর মাগরিবের সালাত কিসারে মুফাস্সাল দ্বারা আদায় করতেন। আর ইশার সালাত তিলাওয়াতে মুফাস্সাল দ্বারা আদায় করতেন। আর ভোরের সালাত অথাৎ ফজর তিওয়ালে মুফাস্সাল দ্বারা আদায় করতেন।
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"I have never prayed behind anyone whose prayer more closely resembled that of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than so-and-so." (The narrator) Sulaiman siad: "He used to make the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr lengthy and the last two shorter, and he would make 'Asr shorter; in Maghrib he would recite the short Mufassal surahs, in Isha' the medium-length Mufassal surahs and in Subh the long Mufassal surahs
। কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... যায়িদ ইবনু আসলাম (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমরা আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাঃ)-এর নিকট পৌছলাম। তিনি বললেন, তোমরা সালাত আদায় করেছ কি? আমরা বললাম- হ্যাঁ। তিনি বললেন, হে বালিকা! আমার জন্য উযুর পানি আন। আমি অন্য কোন ইমামের পেছনে সালাত আদায় করিনি, যার সালাত তোমাদের এই ইমাম (উমর ইবনু আব্দুরল আযীয) এর চেয়ে রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সালাতের সাথে অধিক সাদৃশ্য পূর্ণ। যায়দ বলেন, উমর ইবনু আবদুল আযীয (রহঃ) রুকু এবং সিজদা পূর্ণ আদায় করতেন। আর দাঁড়ানো এবং বসায় অপেক্ষাকৃত কম দেরী করতেন।
It was narrated that Zaid bin Aslam said:"We entered upon Anas bin Malik and he said: 'Have you prayed?' We said: 'Yes.' He asid: 'O slave girl, bring me water for Wudhu! I have never prayed behind any Imam whose prayer more closely resembles the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than this Imam of yours.'" Zaid said: "Umar bin Abdul Aziz used to complete the bowing and prostration (without rushing) and lighten the standing and sitting
। উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি এমন কোন ব্যক্তির পেছনে সালাত আদায় করিনি যার সালাত অমুক ব্যাক্তির সালাতের চেয়ে রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সালাতের সাথে সঠিক সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ। অতএব, আমরা ঐ ব্যক্তির পেছনে সালাত-আদায় করলাম। তিনি জোহরের প্রথম দু'রাকআত লম্বা করতেন, পরের দু'রাক’আত সংক্ষিপ্ত করে আদায় করতেন। আসরের সালাতও সংক্ষিপ্ত করে আদায় করতেন। আর মাগরিবে কিসারে মুফাস্সাল পড়তেন। আর ইশার সালাত আদায় করতেন “ওয়াশ্ শামসি ওয়াদূহাহা এবং এর মত সূরা দ্বারা। আর ফজরের সালাত আদায় করতেন দুটি লম্বা সূরা দ্বারা।

। ইসহাক ইবনু মানসূর (রহঃ) ... জাবির ইবনু সামুরাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম জোহর সালাতে “ওয়াল লাইলি ইযা ইয়াগশা” এবং আসর সালাতে এর মত সূরা এবং ফজর সালাতে এর চেয়েও লম্বা সূরা পাঠ করতেন।
