আহমাদ ইবন আবুল ওয়াহিদ (রহঃ) ... যুহরী (রহঃ) বলেন, আবূ বকর ইবন হাযম (রহঃ) একটি চামড়ার পত্র নিয়ে আসেন যা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে লিখিত হয়েছিল। তাতে লেখা ছিলঃ “ইহা আল্লাহ এবং তাঁর রাসূলের পক্ষ হতে বর্ণনা : হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমার অঙ্গীকার পূর্ণ কর।” এরপর কয়েকটি আয়াত বর্ণিত হয়েছে। তারপর তিনি বলেনঃ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে একশত উট, আর চক্ষুতে পঞ্চাশ উট, হাতের বদলে পঞ্চাশ উট, পা-এর পরিবর্তে পঞ্চাশ উট, আর যে যখম হাঁড়ের মগজ পর্যন্ত পৌছে, তাতে এক-তৃতীয়াংশ দিয়াত। আর যে যখম পেটের ভিতর পৌছে, তাতে এক-তৃতীয়াংশ, আর যে যখমে হাঁড় স্থানচ্যুত হয়, তাতে পনর উট, আর আঙ্গুলে দশ-দশটি উট, আর দাঁতে পাঁচ উট। আর যে যখমে হাঁড় দেখা দেয়, তাতে পাঁচ উট।
It was narrate that Az-Zuhri said:"Abu Bakr bin Hazm brought me a letter on a piece of leather (which was ) from the Messenger of Allah: 'This is a statement from Allah and His Messenger: 'O you who believe! Fulfill (your obligations. And he quoted some Verses from it. Then he said: 'For a soul, one hundred camels; for an eye, fifty camels; for a hand, fifty; for a foot, fifty; for a blow to the head that reaches the brain, one-third of the Diyah: for a hand, fifty; for a stab wound that penetrates deeply, one-third of the Diyah; for a blow that breaks a bone, fifteen camels; for fingers, ten each; for teeth, five each; for a wound that exposes the bone, five. (Daif)
আহমাদ ইবন আমর ইবন সারহ (রহঃ) ... ইবন শিহাব যুহরী (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর ঐ পত্রখানা পাঠ করেছি, যা তিনি আমার ইবন হাযমের জন্য লিখেছিলেন, যখন তিনি তাকে নাজরানে প্রেরণ করেছিলেন। ঐ পত্র আবু বকর ইবন হাযমের নিকট রয়েছে। সে বলেছিল, তাতে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম লিখেছিলেনঃ এটা আল্লাহ্ এবং তাঁর রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর বর্ণনাঃ হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা অঙ্গীকার পূর্ণ কর এর পরবর্তী কয়েক আয়াত ........... ইনাল্লাহা সারীউল হিসাব অর্থাৎ দ্রুত হিসাবগ্রহণকারী পর্যন্ত। এরপর তিনি লেখেন এটা ফৌজদারি বিধি-বিধান : প্রাণনাশের দিয়াত একশত উট............ইত্যাদি।
It was narrated that Ibn shihab said:"I read the letter of the Messenger of allah which he wrote for 'Amr bin Hazm when he sent him to govern Najran. The letter was with Abu Bakr bin Hazm. The Messenger of Allah wrote this; 'A statement from Allah and His Messenger; O you who believe! Fulfill (your) obligations, and he wrote the Verses until he reached. Verily, Allah is Swift in reckoning. Then he wrote: 'this is the book if retaliation: For a soul, one hundred camels, '''' and so on
হারিস ইবন মিসকীন (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন আবু বকর ইবন মুহাম্মদ ইবন হাযম (রহঃ) তাঁর পিতা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন, তিনি বলেছেনঃ দিয়াত সম্বন্ধে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমর ইবন হাযমের জন্য যে পত্র লিখেন, তাতে ছিলঃ প্রাণের পরিবর্তে এক শত উট, আর পূর্ণ নাকের জন্য একশত উট, আর যে যখম মগজ পর্যন্ত পৌছে, তাতে এক-তৃতীয়াংশ এবং যে যখম পেট পর্যন্ত পৌছে, তাতেও দ্রুপ। আর হাতের জন্য পঞ্চাশ উট, চোখের জন্য পঞ্চাশ এবং পায়ের জন্য পঞ্চাশ। প্রত্যেক আঙুলের জন্য দশ উট, আর দাঁতের জন্য পাঁচ উট এবং যে যখমে হাঁড় প্রকাশ পায়, তাতে পাঁচ উট।
It was narrated from' Abdullah bin Abi Bakr bin Muhammad bin 'Amr bin Hazm that his rather said:"The letter which the Messenger of Allah wrote to 'Amr bin Hazm concerning blood money: 'For a soul, one hundred camels; for the nose if it is cut off completely, one hundred camels, for a blow to thread that reaches the brain, one third of the Diyah for a soul; for a stab wound that penetrates deeply, likewise; for a hand fifty; for an eye, fifty, for a foot, fifty; for every fingers, Ten camels for a tooth, five; and for a wound that exposes the bone, five
হায়সাম ইবন মারওয়ান (রহঃ) ... আবু বকর ইবন মুহাম্মদ ইবন আমর ইবন হাযম (রহঃ) তাঁর পিতার মাধ্যমে তাঁর দাদা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ইয়ামানবাসীদের নিকট একখানা পত্র লিখেন, যাতে ফরয, সুন্নাত এবং দিয়াতের কথা ছিল। তিনি আমর ইবন হাযম-এর মাধ্যমে তা পাঠান। ইয়ামানবাসীদের নিকট তাঁর এই পত্র পড়া হয়। তাতে অনুরূপ বর্ণনা উল্লেখ আছে। তবে তাতে এতটুকু অতিরিক্ত রয়েছে যে, তিনি বলেছেনঃ এক চক্ষুতে অর্ধ দিয়াত, এক হাতে অর্ধ দিয়াত, এক পায়ে অর্ধ দিয়াত। আবূ আবদুর রহমান বলেনঃ ইহা সহীহ হওয়ার অধিক নিকটবর্তী। আল্লাহ্ অধিক অবহিত। ইউনুস (রহঃ) যুহরী (রহঃ) হতে এটি মুরসালরূপে বর্ণনা করেছেন (যা নিম্নরূপ) :
It was narrated from Abi Bakr bin Muhammad bin 'Amr bin Hazm, from his father, from his grandfather, that:the Messenger of Allah wrote a letter to the people of Yemen included in which were the rules of inheritance, the sunan and the (rules concerning) blood money. He sent it with 'Amr bin Hazm and it was read to the people of Yemen. This is a copy of it. And he mentioned something similar, except that he said: "And for one eye, half the Diyah must be paid; for one hand, half thediyah must be paid; for one foot, half the diyah must be paid. " (Daif)
