মুহাম্মদ ইবন রাফে' (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) সূত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, কিয়ামতের দিন নিহত ব্যক্তি হত্যাকারীকে নিয়ে উপস্থিত হবে, তার ললাট ও মাথা হত্যাকারীর হাতে থাকবে, আর তার শিরা হতে রক্ত প্রবাহিত হতে থাকবে। সে বলবেঃ হে আমার রব! এই ব্যক্তি আমাকে হত্যা করেছে। সে তাকে আল্লাহর আরশের নিকট নিয়ে যাবে। রাবী বলেন, তখন লোক ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ)-এর নিকট তাওবার উল্লেখ করলে তিনি তিলাওয়াত করলেনঃ (وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا) তিনি আরও বললেনঃ এই আয়াত নাযিল হওয়ার পর রহিত হয়নি; কাজেই তার তাওবার সুযোগ কোথায়?
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:The Prophet [SAW] said: "The slain will bring his killer on the Day of Resurrection with his forelock and his head in his hand, and with his jugular veins flowing with blood, and will say: 'O Lord, he killed me,' until he draws near to the Throne." They mentioned repentance to Ibn 'Abbas and he recited this Verse: "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell" He said: "It has not been abrogated since it was revealed; there is no way he could repent
হাসান ইবন মুহাম্মদ জাফরানী (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, কয়েকজন মুশরিক রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খিদমতে এসে বললেনঃ আপনি যা বলেন এবং যেদিকে আহ্বান করেন তা অতি উত্তম। আচ্ছা বলুন তো, আমরা যা করেছি তার কাফফারা আছে কি? তখন আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা নাযিল করেনঃ (وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ) (সূরা ফুরকানঃ ৬৮–৭০) এবং (قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ) (সূরা আয-যুমারঃ ৫৩)।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that :Some of the people of Shirk came to Muhammad [SAW] and said: "What you say and call people to is good, if only you could tell us that there is any expiation for what we have done." Then the Verses: "And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, or kill such a person as Allah has forbidden, except by right." And "Say: O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)" were revealed
তিনি বললেন, (وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا) আয়াতটি সূরা ফুরকানের আয়াত নাযিল হওয়ার ছয় মাস পর নাযিল হয়।
It was narrated that Zaid bin Thabit said:"This Verse - 'And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell' - was revealed six months after the Verse which was revealed in Surat Al-Furqan
হাজিব ইবন সুলায়মান মানবিজী (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, আরবের এক দল লোক বহু নরহত্যা করে, ব্যাপকভাবে যিনা করে এবং নানা রকম অন্যায় অপরাধ করে, তারা নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে জিজ্ঞাসা করলোঃ হে মুহাম্মদ ! আপনি যা বলেন এবং যেদিকে আমাদের আহ্বান করেন, তা অতি উত্তম। তবুও বলুন, আমরা যা করেছি তার কি কোন প্রায়শ্চিত্ত আছে? তখন আল্লাহ তা'আলা নাযিল করলেনঃ (وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ إِلَى فَأُولَئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ) অর্থঃ যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন মাবুদকে না ডাকে, তবে তাদের গুনাহসমূহকে আল্লাহ নেকীতে রূপান্তরিত করবেন ... (সূরা ফুরকানঃ ৬৮–৭০)। এবং আরও নাযিল করেনঃ (يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ) অর্থঃ তোমরা যারা নিজেদের প্রতি অবিচার করেছ, তোমরা আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হয়ো না (সূরা আয-যুমারঃ ৫৩)।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that :Some people used to kill, and they did a great deal of it, and they used to commit adultery and they did a great deal of it, and they committed violations. They came to the Prophet [SAW] and said: "O Muhammad, what you say and call people to is good, if only you could tell us that there is any expiation for what we have done." Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah up to for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds," he said: "So Allah will change their Shirk into faith, and their adultery into chastity. And the Verse: "Say: O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)" was revealed
