ইউনুস ইবন আবদুল আ'লা (রহঃ) ... আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ যেন তার ভাই-এর বিবাহের পয়গামের উপর পয়গাম না দেয়, যে পর্যন্ত সে বিবাহ করে কিংবা ছেড়ে যায়।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:"None of you should propose marriage to a woman when someone else has already proposed to her, unless he marries (and he gives up the idea), or gives him permission
ইবরাহীম ইবন হাসান (রহঃ) ... ইবন জুরাইজ (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি নাফি (রহঃ)-কে বর্ণনা করতে শুনেছি, আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) বলতেনঃ কারও খরিদ করার উপর অন্য কারোর খরিদ করার প্রস্তাব দিতে এবং একজনের বিবাহের প্রস্তাবের উপর অন্যজনের প্রস্তাব দিতে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম নিষেধ করেছেন, যে পর্যন্ত না ঐ প্রথম প্রস্তাবক ছেড়ে যায় অথবা তাকে অনুমতি দেয়।
Abdullah bin 'Amr used to say:"The Messenger of Allah forbade offering more for something that has already been bought by his brother, or for a man to propose marriage to a woman when someone else has already proposed to her, unless the previous suitor gave up the idea or gave him permission
