রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তিন প্রকারের লোক যাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর হক রয়েছে, আল্লাহ অবশ্য তাদের সাহায্য করবেন; যে মুকাতাব দাস কিতাবাতের অর্থ আদায় করার ইচ্ছা পোষণ করে, যে বিবাহিত ব্যক্তি ব্যভিচার হতে রক্ষা পেতে চায় এবং আল্লাহর রাস্তার মুজাহিদ।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "There are three who are promised the help of Allah: The Mukatab who wants to buy his freedom, the one who gets married seeking to keep himself chaste, and the Mujahid who fights in the cause of Allah." *Mukatab: the slave who has made a contract of manumission
ইসহাক ইবন ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ... আনাস (রাঃ) বলেন, সাহাবায়ে কিরাম এর একদলের কেউ কেউ বললোঃ আমি স্ত্রী গ্রহণ করবো না, কেউ বললেনঃ আমি আহার করবো না। আর কেউ বললোঃ আমি বিছানায় শয়ন করবো না। আবার কেউ বললো এমন রোযা রাখব, আর কখনও রোযা ভঙ্গ করবো না। রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তা শ্রবণ করে আল্লাহর প্রশংসা করে বললেনঃ এ সকল দলের কি হলো-যারা এমন এমন কথা বলে! কিন্তু আমি (রাত্রির) কিছু অংশে নামায পড়ি, আবার নিদ্রা যাই; রোযা রাখি আবার রোযা ভঙ্গ করি এবং স্ত্রী গ্রহণ করি, যে আমার সুন্নত হতে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেবে, সে আমার দলভুক্ত নয়।
Narrated Anas:
It was narrated from Anas that there was a group of the Companions of the Prophet, one of whom said: "I will not marry women." Another said: "I will not eat meat." Another said: "I will not sleep on a bed." Another said: "I will fast and not break my fast." News of that reached the Messenger of Allah and he praised Allah then said: "What is the matter with people who say such and such? But I pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me
কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... জাবির (রাঃ) বলেন, বিবাহ করার পর আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে আগমন করলে তিনি বললেনঃ হে জাবির! তুমি কি বিবাহ করেছ? আমি বললামঃ জি হ্যাঁ। তিনি জিজ্ঞাসা করলেনঃ কুমারী, না বিবাহিতা? আমি বললামঃ বিবাহিতা। তিনি বললেনঃ কুমারী কেন বিবাহ করলে না, যে তোমার সাথে ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করতো, আর তুমি তার সাথে ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করতে।
Narrated Jabir:
It was narrated that Jabir said: "I got married then I came to the Prophet and he said: 'Have you got married, O Jabir?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'To a virgin or to a previously married woman?' I said: 'To a previously married woman.' He said: 'Why not a virgin, so you could play with her and she could play with you?
তিনি উম্মুল মুমিনীন আয়েশা (রাঃ)-এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে বললেনঃ আমি আপনাকে কৌমার্য সম্বন্ধে প্রশ্ন করতে ইচ্ছা করি। এ ব্যাপারে আপনার মতামত কি? তিনি বললেনঃ তা করো না। তুমি কি শ্রবণ করনি যে, আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা বলেছেনঃ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً অর্থঃ আর আমি আপনার পূর্বেও অনেক রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম এবং তাদেরকে স্ত্রী ও সন্তান-সন্তুতি দিয়ে ছিলাম। (সূরা আর-রা'দঃ ৩৮)।
Narrated Sa'd bin Hisham:
It was narrated from Sa'd bin Hisham that he came to the Mother of the Believers, 'Aishah. He said: "I want to ask you about celibacy, what do you think about it?" She said: "Do not do that; have you not heard that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you, and made for them wives and offspring'? So do not be celibate
