। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু মুছান্না (রহঃ) এবং মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু বাশা্শার (রহঃ) ... ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণনা করেন। তিনি বলেন যে, আমরা হলাম (মা এর শিশু সন্তানের ন্যায়) অজ্ঞ উম্মাত, (ভাল করে) হিসাবও জানি না এবং (ভাল করে) লিখতেও জানি না। আর মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়। এবং তৃতীয় বারে বৃদ্ধ আঙুল বন্ধ করে ফেললেন। (২৯ দিন বুঝাবার জন্য)। আর মাস এরকম, এরকম, এরকম, পূর্ণ ত্রিশ দিনেরও হয়।
It was narrated from Saeed bin 'Amr bin Saeed bin Abi Al-As, that:he heard Ibn 'Umar narrate that the Prophet said; "We are an unlettered Ummah; we do not use computation. । মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু মুছান্না (রহঃ) ... ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন যে, আমরা হলাম উম্মাতে উম্মিয়্যা। (মা এর শিশু সন্তানের মত) আমরা ভাল করে লিখা জানি না আর ভাল করে হিসাবও জানি না। মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়, মাস এত দিনের হয়। এরকম তিনবার বলে তিনি ঊনত্রিশ দিনের উল্লেখ করলেন।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet said:"We are an unlettered Ummah, we do not use astronomical counting or computation. The month is like this, and this, and this," he did three times, showing it as twenty-nine
। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আব্দুল আ’লা (রহঃ) ... ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন যে, মাস এত দিনের হয়। ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) থেকে জাবালা (রহঃ) যে বর্ণনা করেছেন তার ব্যাখ্যা দিতে গিয়ে শুবা (রহঃ) বলেছেন যে, ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) দু'বার তাঁর হস্ত প্রসারিত করে এবং তৃতীয়বারে হস্তদ্বয়ের অঙ্গুলিসমুহ থেকে একটি অঙ্গুলি নামিয়ে ফেলে বলতে চেয়েছেন যে, মাস ঊনত্রিশ দিনেরও হয়।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet said:"The month is like this," and (one of the narrators) Shubah did the same gesture as Jabalah had done, copying, Ibn 'Umar: "It is twenty-nine, as he gestured twice with all fingers of both hands, and putting down one of his fingers the third time
। উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু ফাদালাহ এবং আহমাদ ইবনু মুহাম্মাদ (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) বলেছেন যে, আমি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, মাস কখনো ত্রিশ দিনের হয়।
