। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু বাশশার (রহঃ) ... তালহা ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ)-এর পেছনে জানাজার সালাত আদায় করেছিলাম। আমি তার সূরা ফাতিহা তিলাওয়াত শুনতে পেলাম। যখন তিনি অবসর হলেন আমি তার হস্ত ধারণ পূর্বক জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম: আপনি জানাজার সালাতে সূরা ফাতিহা তিলাওয়াত করেছেন? তিনি বললেন, হ্যাঁ! এটা তো সুন্নাত এবং সঠিক।
It was narrated that Talhah bin 'Abdullah said:"I offered the funeral prayer behind Ibn 'Abbas and I heard him reciting Fatihat Al-Kitab. When he finished I took him by the hand and asked him. 'Did you recite?' He said: 'Yes, it is the truth and the Sunnah
। হায়ছম ইবনু আয়্যুব (রহঃ) ... তালহা ইবনু আব্দুল্লাহ (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ)-এর পেছনে জানাযার সালাত আদায় করেছিলাম। তাতে তিনি সূরা ফাতিহা এবং অন্য একটি সূরা তিলাওয়াত করেছিলেন এবং এতটুকু উচ্চ স্বরে তিলাওয়াত করেছিলেন যে, আমরা তা শুনতে পেয়েছিলাম। যখন তিনি অবসর হলেন আমি তাঁর হস্ত ধারণ পূর্বক জিজ্ঞাসা করলে তিনি বললেন, এটা সুন্নাত এবং সঠিক।
It was narrated that Talhah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Awf said:"I offered the funeral prayer behind Ibn 'Abbas. He recited Fatihat Al-Kitab and a Surah, which he recited loudly, such that we could hear him. When he finished I took him by the hand and asked him. He said: '(It is) Sunnah and the truth
। কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আবূ উমামা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, জানাযার সালাতে সূন্নাত হল প্রথম তাকবীর চুপেচুপে সূরা ফাতিহা তিলাওয়াত করবে। অতঃপর আরো তিনটি তাকবীর বলবে; শেষ তাকবীরে সালাম ফিরাবে।
(It was narrated that Abu Umamah said:"The Sunnah, when offering the funeral prayer, is to recite Umm Al-Qur'an) the Exxence of the Qur'an) quietly in the first Takbir, Then to say three (more) Takbir and to say the Taslim after the last one
। ঈসমাঈল ইবনু মাসউদ (রহঃ) ... আবূ ইবরাহীম (রাঃ)-এর পিতা থেকে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে মৃতের জানাজায় বলতে শুনেছেনঃ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا
It was narrated from Abu Ibrahim Al-Ansari, from his father, that:he heard the Prophet say, when offering the funeral prayer for one who had died: Allahummighfir lihayyina wa mayyitina wa shahidina wa gha'ibina wadhakarina wa unthana wa saghirina wa kabirina (O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present among us and those who are absent, our males and our females, our young and our old)
