। ইয়াকুব ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার ডান দিকে সালাম ফিরাতেন 'আসসালামু আলাইকুম ওয়া রহমাতুল্লাহ' বলে তখন তার চেহারার ডান দিকের শুভ্রতা দেখা যেত। অনুরূপভাবে বাম দিকে 'আসসালামু আলাইকুম ওয়া রহমাতুল্লাহ' বলে সালাম ফিরালে তার চেহারার বাম দিকের শুভ্রতা দেখা যেত।
Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated that:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say salam to his right:As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) , until the whiteness of his right cheek could be seen, and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his left cheek could be seen
। আমর ইবনু আলী (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত যে, তিনি তার ডান দিকে এবং বাম দিকে সালাম ফিরাতেন, 'আসসালামু আলাইকুম ওয়ারহমাতুল্লাহ' 'আসসালামু আলাইকুম ওয়ারহমাতুল্লাহ' বলে তখন তাঁর চেহারার শুভ্রতা দেখা যেত, এদিক থেকে এবং ওদিক থেকে।
It was narrated from 'Abdullah that:The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say salam to his right and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen from here, and the whiteness of his cheek from here
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْقِبْطِيَّةِ - عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَكُنَّا إِذَا سَلَّمْنَا قُلْنَا بِأَيْدِينَا السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ - قَالَ - فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " مَا شَأْنُكُمْ تُشِيرُونَ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمْسٍ إِذَا سَلَّمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَلْتَفِتْ إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ وَلاَ يُومِئْ بِيَدِهِ " .
। আহমদ ইবনু সুলায়মান (রহঃ) ... জাবির ইবনু সামুরা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি (একদিন) রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সঙ্গে সালাত আদায় করছিলাম, আমরা যখন সালাম ফিরালাম তখন হাত দ্বারা ইশারা করে বললাম, 'আসসালামু আলাইকুম, আসসালামু আলাইকুম' তিনি বলেন, তখন রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে বললেন, তোমাদের কি হল যে, তোমরা হাত দ্বারা ইশারা করছ? যেন তা ঘোড়ার লেজ! যখন তোমাদের কেউ সালাম ফিরাবে তখন সে তার সাথীর প্রতি তাকাবে এবং স্বীয় হাত দ্বারা ইশারা করবে না।
It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said:"I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and when we said the salam we used to gesture with our hands: 'Asalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon, peace be upon you).' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) looked at us and said: 'What is the matter with you, pointing with your hands as if they are the tails of wild horses? When any one of you says the salam, let him turn to his companions and not gesture with his hand
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ .
। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আদম (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার ডান দিকে সালাম ফিরাতেন, তখন তার চেহারার শুভ্রতা দেখা যেত। আর যখন বাম দিকে সালাম ফিরাতেন তখনও তাঁর চেহারার শুভ্রতা দেখা যেত।
