শাইবান ইবনু ফাররূখ (রহঃ) ..... আবূ সাঈদ আল খুদরী (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম তার কতিপয় সাহাবাকে প্রায়ই পিছনের লাইনে দাঁড়াতে দেখেন। তিনি তাদের বললেনঃ তোমরা সামনে এগিয়ে এসে আমার পিছনে অনুসরণ কর। তাহলে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা তোমাদের পিছনে অনুসরণ করবে। একদল লোক সবসময় দেরি করে এসে পিছনে দাঁড়ায়। আল্লাহর তাদেরকে (নিজের রহমত থেকে) পিছনে রাখবেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৮৬৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw (a tendency ) among his Companions to go to the back, so he said to them: Come forward and follow my lead, and let those who come after you follow your lead. People will continue to keep back till Allah will put them at the back
ইবরাহীম ইবনু দীনার ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু হারব আল ওয়াসিতী (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমরা যদি জানতে অথবা তারা যদি জানত যে, সামনের লাইনে দাঁড়ানো কত কল্যাণকর; তাহলে তারা এটা লাভ করার জন্য লটারী করত। ইবনু হারব-এর বর্ণনায় প্রথম লাইনের উল্লেখ রয়েছে। তাতে আরো আছেঃ তারা এ লাইনে স্থান লাভ করার জন্য লটারী করত। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৮৬৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abu Huraira reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If you were to know, or if they were to know, what (excellence) lies in the first rows, there would have been drawing of lots (for filling them) ; and Ibn Harb said: For (occupying) the first row there would have been drawing of lots
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ আযান দেয়া এবং প্রথম লাইনে দাঁড়ানোর মধ্যে যে কি মর্যাদা রয়েছে তা যদি মানুষ জানতে পারত, তবে তা পাবার জন্য তারা প্রয়োজনবোধে লটারী করত। দুপুরের সালাতের যে মর্যাদা রয়েছে তা যদি তারা জানতে পারত, তবে তারা এটা লাভ করার প্রতিযোগিতায় লেগে যেত। ইশা ও ফজরের সালাতের মধ্যে (তাদের জন্য) কি মর্যাদা রয়েছে তা যদি জানতে পারত তবে তারা হামাগুড়ি দিয়ে হলেও এসে সালাতে উপস্থিত হত। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৮৬৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abu Huraira reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If the people were to know what excellence is there in the Adhan and in the first row, and they could not (get these opportunities) except by drawing lots, they would have definitely done that. And if they were to know what excellence lies in joining the prayer in the first takbir (prayer), they would have vied with one another. And if they were to know what excellence lies in the night prayer and morning prayer, they would have definitely come even if crawling (on their knees)
