তারা সবাই বলেন যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ “আমি তোমাদের জন্য যা ছেড়ে দিয়েছি তোমরাও আমাকে সে বিষয়ে ছেড়ে দাও” (অর্থাৎ সে বিষয়ে আমাকে প্রশ্ন করো না)। হাম্মাম (রহঃ) এর হাদীসে আছে, “যে বিষয়ে তোমাদের ছাড় দেয়া হয়েছে।” কারণ তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা ধ্বংস হয়েছে, এরপর তারা আবূ হুরাইরাহ হতে যুহরী এবং আবূ সালামাহ্ (রহঃ) এর হাদীসের অবিকল রিওয়ায়াত করেছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯০৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated by Abu Huraira through a different chain of transmitters (and the words are) that he reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said:Abandon that which I have asked you to abandon, for the people before you went to their doom (for asking too many questions)
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... সা'দ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মুসলিমদের মাঝে সর্বাধিক দোষী ঐসব লোক, যে এমন ব্যাপারে জিজ্ঞেস করে, যা মুসলিমদের জন্য হারাম বা নিষিদ্ধ ছিল না। আর তার জিজ্ঞেস করার কারণে সে ব্যাপারটি মুসলিমদের উপর হারাম করে দেয়া হয়। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯০৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Amir b. Sa'd reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:The greatest sinner amongst the Muslims is one who asked about a thing (from Allah's Apostle) which had not been forbidden for the Muslims and it was forbidden for them because of his persistently asking about it
হারমালাহ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া তুজীবী (রহঃ) ..... আবদুর রহমান ও সাঈদ ইবনু মুসাইয়্যিব (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তারা দু’জনে বলেন, আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) বলতেন যে, তিনি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছেন, আমি তোমাদের যা বারণ করেছি তা হতে বিরত থাকো এবং যা তোমাদের নির্দেশ করেছি তা যা সম্ভব পালন করো। কেননা, অধিক জিজ্ঞাসা ও স্বীয় নবীগণের সঙ্গে মতবিরোধ তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের ধ্বংস করেছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯০২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Avoid that which I forbid you to do and do that which I command you to do to the best of your capacity. Verily the people before you went to their doom because they had put too many questions to their Prophets and then disagreed with their teachings
