তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ "সর্বাধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শর্ত যা অবশ্যই পূরণ করতে হবে- তা হচ্ছে সে শর্ত যার মাধ্যমে তোমরা (স্ত্রীদের) লজ্জাস্থান বৈধ করে নিয়েছো।" হাদীসের মূল পাঠে উদ্ধৃত শব্দাবলী আবূ বাকর ও ইবনুল মুসান্নার বর্ণনা থেকে গৃহীত। তবে ইবনুল মুসান্নার বর্ণনায় “শর্তাবলী” উল্লেখ আছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৩৩৭, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)

উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু উমার আল কাওয়ারীরী (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরায়রাহ (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ পূর্ব বিবাহিতাকে তার সুস্পষ্ট অনুমতি না নিয়ে এবং কুমারীকে তার সম্মতি না নিয়ে বিবাহ দেয়া যাবে না। সাহাবীগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! তার (কুমারীর) সম্মতি কিভাবে নেয়া যাবে? তিনি বললেন, সে নীরব থাকলে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৩৩৮, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as having said:A woman without a husband (or divorced or a widow) must not be married until she is consulted, and a virgin must not be married until her permission is sought. They asked the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ): How her (virgin's) consent can be solicited? He (the Holy Prophet) said: That she keeps silence

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Vmar with the same chain of transmitters, but there is no mention of Ibn Numair
