আবূত তহির, হারমালাহ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া ও হারূন ইবনু সাঈদ আল আয়লী (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরায়রাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি জানাযার সালাত আদায় করা পর্যন্ত লাশের সাথে থাকে, তাকে এক কীরাত সাওয়াব দেয়া হবে। আর যে ব্যক্তি দাফন করা পর্যন্ত লাশের সাথে উপস্থিত থাকে, তাকে দু' কীরাত সাওয়াব দান করা হবে। কেউ জিজ্ঞেস করল, দু কীরাত বলতে কি পরিমাণ বুঝায়? তিনি বললেন, দুটি বিরাট পাহাড় সমতুল্য। আবূত তহির বর্ণিত হাদীস এ পর্যন্ত শেষ হল। বাকী দু'জন বর্ণনাকারী আরো বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, ইবনু শিহাব বলেন, সালিম ইবনু আবদুল্লাহ বলেছেন এবং ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) জানাযার সালাত আদায় করতে চলে যেতেন। যখন তার নিকট আবূ হুরায়রাহ (রাযিঃ) বর্ণিত হাদীস পৌছল তখন তিনি বললেন, আমরা তো বহু কীরাত বরবাদ করে দিয়েছি। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৫৭, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:He who attends the funeral till the prayer is offered for (the dead), for him is the reward of one qirat, and he who attends (and stays) till he is buried, for him is the reward of two qirats. It was said: What are the qirats? He said: They are equivalent to two huge mountains. Two other narrators added: Ibn 'Umar used to pray and then depart (without waiting for the burial of the dead). When the tradition of Abu Huraira reached him, he said:" We have lost many qirats

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying:Hasten at a funeral, for if (the dead person) is good, you would (soon) bring him close to the good. And if it is otherwise, it is an evil of which you are ridding yourselves
আবূ বকর ইবনু আবূ শায়বাহ, ইবনু রাফি ও আবদ ইবনু হুমায়দ (রহঃ) ..... আবৃ হুরাররাহ (রাযিঃ) থেকে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কথা "বিরাট দু' পাহাড় সমতুল্য পর্যন্ত" বর্ণিত হয়েছে। 'আবদুল আ'লা ও আবদুর রাযযাক উভয়ে হাদীসের পরবর্তী অংশ উল্লেখ করেননি। আবদুল আ'লা এর হাদীসে "শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত" এবং আবদুর রাযযাক এর হাদীসে “কবরে না রাখা পর্যন্ত" বর্ণিত হয়েছে। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৫৮, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of narrators up to these words:" two great mountains." No mention is made of what followed (these words) ; and in the hadith transmitted by 'Abd al- A'la (the words are):" till (the burial) is complete." In the hadith transmitted by 'Abd ar-Razzaq (the words are):" till he is placed in the grave
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি' ও 'আবূদ ইবনু হুমায়দ, ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু হাবীব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরায়রাহ (রাযিঃ) নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে মা'মার এর বর্ণনায় হাদীসে উল্লেখ আছে, তিনি বলেন, আমি এ হাদীসটা মারফু হওয়া সম্পর্কে নিশ্চিতভাবে জানি। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৫৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
