وَيُذْكَرُ أَنَّ أَقْوَامًا اخْتَلَفُوا فِي الْأَذَانِ فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ سَعْدٌ. উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে যে, একদল লোক আযান দেয়ার ব্যাপারে প্রতিযোগিতা করল। সা‘দ (রাযি.) তাঁদের মধ্যে কুরআহর (লটারী) মাধ্যমে নির্বাচন করলেন। ৬১৫. আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযি.) হতে বর্ণিত। আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আযানে ও প্রথম কাতারে কী (ফাযীলাত) রয়েছে, তা যদি লোকেরা জানত, কুরআহর মাধ্যমে বাছাই ব্যতীত এ সুযোগ লাভ করা যদি সম্ভব না হত, তাহলে অবশ্যই তারা কুরআহর মাধ্যমে ফায়সালা করত। যুহরের সালাত আউয়াল ওয়াক্তে আদায় করার মধ্যে কী (ফাযীলাত) রয়েছে, যদি তারা জানত, তাহলে তারা এর জন্য প্রতিযোগিতা করত। আর ‘ইশা ও ফজরের সালাত (জামা‘আতে) আদায়ের কী ফাযীলাত তা যদি তারা জানত, তাহলে নিঃসন্দেহে হামাগুড়ি দিয়ে হলেও তারা হাজির হত। (৬৫৪, ৭২১, ২৬৮৯; মুসলিম ৪/২৮, হাঃ ৪৩৭, আহমাদ ৭২৩০) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৫৮০, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If the people knew the reward for pronouncing the Adhan and for standing in the first row (in congregational prayers) and found no other way to get that except by drawing lots they would draw lots, and if they knew the reward of the Zuhr prayer (in the early moments of its stated time) they would race for it (go early) and if they knew the reward of `Isha' and Fajr (morning) prayers in congregation, they would come to offer them even if they had to crawl
আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি আযান শুনে দু‘আ করেঃ ‘হে আল্লাহ্-এ পরিপূর্ণ আহবান ও প্রতিষ্ঠিত সালাতের মালিক, মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -কে ওয়াসীলা ও সর্বোচ্চ মর্যাদার অধিকারী করুন এবং তাঁকে সে মাকামে মাহমুদে পৌঁছে দিন যার অঙ্গীকার আপনি করেছেন’-কিয়ামতের দিন সে আমার শাফা‘আত লাভের অধিকারী হবে।* (৪৭১৯) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৫৭৯, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever after listening to the Adhan says, 'Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-dda` watit-tammah, was-salatil qa'imah, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilah, wa b`ath-hu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa`adtahu' [O Allah! Lord of this perfect call (perfect by not ascribing partners to You) and of the regular prayer which is going to be established, give Muhammad the right of intercession and illustriousness, and resurrect him to the best and the highest place in Paradise that You promised him (of)], then my intercession for him will be allowed on the Day of Resurrection
وَتَكَلَّمَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ فِي أَذَانِهِ وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يَضْحَكَ وَهُوَ يُؤَذِّنُ أَوْ يُقِيمُ. সুলাইমান ইব্নু সুরাদ (রহ.) আযানের মধ্যে কথা বলেছেন। হাসান বসরী (রহ.) বলেন, আযান বা ইক্বামাত(ইকামত/একামত) দেয়ার সময় হেসে ফেললে কোনো দোষ নেই। ৬১৬. ‘আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবনু হারিস (রাযি.) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একবার বর্ষণ মুখর দিনে ইবনু ‘আব্বাস (রাযি.) আমাদের উদ্দেশে খুত্বাহ দিচ্ছিলেন। এদিকে মুআয্যিন আযান দিতে গিয়ে যখন حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ -এ পৌঁছল, তখন তিনি তাকে এ ঘোষণা দেয়ার নির্দেশ দিলেন যে, ‘লোকেরা যেন আবাসে সালাত আদায় করে নেয়।’ এতে লোকেরা একে অপরের দিকে তাকাতে লাগল। তখন ইবনু ‘আব্বাস (রাযি.) বললেন, তাঁর চেয়ে যিনি অধিক উত্তম ছিলেন (রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ) তিনিই এরূপ করেছেন। অবশ্য জুমু‘আর সালাত ওয়াজিব। (তবে ওযরের কারণে নিজ আবাসস্থলে সালাত আদায় করার অনুমতি আছে)। (৬৬৮, ৯০১; মুসলিম ৬/৩, হাঃ ৬৯৯) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৫৮১, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated `Abdullah bin Al-Harith:
Once on a rainy muddy day, Ibn `Abbas delivered a sermon in our presence and when the Mu'adhdhin pronounced the Adhan and said, "Haiyi `ala-s-sala(t) (come for the prayer)" Ibn `Abbas ordered him to say 'Pray at your homes.' The people began to look at each other (surprisingly). Ibn `Abbas said. "It was done by one who was much better than I (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) or his Mu'adh-dhin), and it is a license
ইয়াহ্ইয়া (রহ.) হতে এমনই বর্ণিত আছে। ইয়াহ্ইয়া (রহ.) বলেছেন, আমার কোনো ভাই আমার নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, মুআয্যিন যখন حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ বলল, তখন তিনি (মু‘আবিয়াহ (রাযি.) لاَحَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللهِবললেন। অতঃপর তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে আমরা এরূপ বলতে শুনেছি। (৬১২) (আধুনিক প্রকাশনীঃ ৫৭৮, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ)
Narrated Yahya as above (586) and added:
"Some of my companions told me that Hisham had said, "When the Mu'adh-dhin said, "Haiyi `alassala (come for the prayer)." Muawiya said, "La hawla wala quwata illa billah (There is neither might nor any power except with Allah)" and added, "We heard your Prophet saying the same
