তিনি বলেন, ইবনু যুবায়র-এর ‘আমলে আমাদের উপর দুর্ভিক্ষ আসলো। তখন তিনি খাদ্য হিসাবে আমাদের কিছু খেজুর দিলেন। ‘আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু ‘উমার আমাদের পাশ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। সে সময় আমরা খাচ্ছিলাম। তিনি বললেনঃ একত্রে একাধিক খেজুর খেয়ো না। কেননা, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একসাথে একের বেশি খেজুর খেতে নিষেধ করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, তবে কেউ যদি তার ভাইকে অনুমতি দেয়, তবে তাতে কোন দোষ হবে না। শু‘বাহ বলেন, অনুমতির কথাটি ইবনু উমারের নিজস্ব কথা। [২৪৫৫] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫০৪৩, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Jabala bin Suhaim.:
At the time of Ibn Az-Zubair, we were struck with famine, and he provided us with dates for our food. `Abdullah bin `Umar used to pass by us while we were eating, and say, "Do not eat two dates together at a time, for the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the taking of two dates together at a time (in a gathering)." Ibn `Umar used to add, "Unless one takes the permission of one's companions
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ "مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَجَرَةٌ تَكُونُ مِثْلَ الْمُسْلِمِ، وَهْىَ النَّخْلَةُ ".
ইবনু ‘উমার (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, গাছের মাঝে একটি গাছ আছে, যা (বারাকাতের ক্ষেত্রে) মুসলিমের ন্যায়, আর তা হল- খেজুর গাছ। [৬১] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫০৪৪, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is a tree among the trees which is similar to a Muslim (in goodness), and that is the date palm tree
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি প্রত্যেকদিন সকালবেলায় সাতটি আজওয়া উৎকৃষ্ট খেজুর খাবে, সেদিন কোন বিষ ও যাদু তার ক্ষতি করবে না। [৫৭৬৮, ৫৭৬৯, ৫৭৭৯] (আধুনিক প্রকাশনী- ৫০৪২, ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন)
Narrated Sa`d:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "He who eats seven 'Ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them
