। ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে কা‘বার রুকনের নিকট বসে থাকতে দেখি। ইবনু আব্বাস বলেন, তিনি আকাশের দিকে তাকিয়ে হাসলেন এবং তিনবার বললেনঃ মহান আল্লাহ ইয়াহুদীদের অভিশপ্ত করুন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তাদের জন্য চর্বি হারাম করেছিলেন। কিন্তু তারা তা বিক্রি করে এর মূল্য ভক্ষণ করতো। অথচ আল্লাহ যখন কোনো জাতির কোনো বস্তু খাওয়া হারাম করেন তখন তার মূল্যও হারাম করেন। খালিদ ইবনু ‘আব্দুল্লাহ বর্ণিত হাদীসে ‘‘আমি তাঁকে দেখেছি’’ কথাটি উল্লেখ নেই। তিনি বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ আল্লাহ ইয়াহুদীদের ধ্বংস করুন।
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sitting neat the Black stone (or at a corner of the Ka'bah). He said: He (the Prophet) raised his eyes towards the heaven, and laughed, and he said: May Allah curse the Jews! He said this three times. Allah declared unlawful for them the fats (of the animals which died a natural death); they sold them and they enjoyed the price they received for them. When Allah declared eating of thing forbidden for the people, He declares it price also forbidden for them. The version of Khalid b. 'Abd Allah al-Tahhan does not have the words "I saw". It has: "May Allah destroy the Jews
। ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, যখন সূরা বাকারাহর শেষের দিকের আয়াতগুলো অবতীর্ণ হলো রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বেরিয়ে এসে আমাদেরকে তা পড়ে শুনালেন। তিনি বললেনঃ মদের ব্যবসা হারাম করা হয়েছে।
Narrated 'Aishah:
When the last verses of Surat al-Baqarah were revealed, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out and recited them to us and siad: Trading in wine has been forbidden
