। আবূ হুরাইরা (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ (নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন), যে ব্যক্তি লাশের অনুগমন করে এবং তার জানাযা আদায় করে তার জন্য এক ক্বীরাত সওয়াব রয়েছে। আর যে ব্যক্তি লাশের অনুগমন করে এবং দাফন শেষ করা পর্যন্ত শরীক থাকে তার জন্য রয়েছে দু’ ক্বীরাত সওয়াব। এ দু’ ক্বীরাতের ছোট ক্বীরাতটি উহুদ পাহাড়ের সমান অথবা উভয়ের একটি উহুদ পাহাড়ের সমান।
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
If anyone attends the funeral and prays over (the dead), he will get the reward of one qirat, and if anyone attends the funeral until the completion (of the burial), he will get the reward of two qirats, the smaller of them being equivalent of Uhud, or one of them being equivalent to Uhud
। দাঊদ ইবনু ‘আমির ইবনু সা‘দ ইবনু ওয়াক্কাস (রহঃ) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। একদা দাঊদের পিতা ‘আমির (রাঃ) ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু ‘উমার ইবনুল খাত্তাব (রাঃ)-এর কাছে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এমন সময় ক্ষুদ্র কুটিরবাসী খাব্বাব (রাঃ) এসে উপস্থিত হয়ে বললেন, হে ‘আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু ‘উমার! আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) কি বলেছেন তা কি আপনি শুনেছেন? তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি মৃতের ঘর থেকে রওয়ানা হয়ে তার পিছনে পিছনে যায় এবং তার জানাযা পড়ে... অতঃপর সুফিয়ানের হাদীসের অনুরূপ। ইবনু ‘উমার (রাঃ) ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ)-এর কাছে লোক পাঠালে তিনি বললেন, আবূ হুরাইরাহ ঠিকই বলেছেন।
Dawud b. 'Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas said that his father 'Amir b. Sa'd was with Ibn 'Umar b. al-Khattab when Khabbab, the owner of the closet (maqsurah), came and said:'Abd Allah b.'Umar dont you hear what Abu Hurairah says ? He heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: If anyone goes out of his house, accompanies bier and prays over it.... He then mentioned the rest of the tradition as narrated by Sufyan. Thereupon Ibn 'Umar sent someone to 'Aishah (asking her about it). She replied: Abu Hurairah spoke the truth
। মালিক ইবনু হুবাইরাহ (রাঃ) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কেউ মারা গেলে এবং মুসলিমদের তিন কাতার লোক তার জানাযা পড়লে (আল্লাহ তার জন্য জান্নাত) ওয়াজিব করে দেন। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, এ কারণে মালিক (রাঃ) জানাযায় লোক সংখ্যা কম হলে তাদেরকে তিন কাতারে বিভক্ত করতেন, এ হাদীস মোতাবেক আমলের উদ্দেশ্যে।
Narrated Malik ibn Hubayrah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If any Muslim dies and three rows of Muslims pray over him, it will assure him (of Paradise). When Malik considered those who accompanied a bier to be a few, he divided them into three rows in accordance with this tradition
